I woke up to a loud banging sound where am I?? I don't know but it looks familiar like really familiar it's super cold down here I think I'm in some type of basement I thought long and hard before it came to me this is the house I grew up in this is my d-dads basement I looked around and saw something familiar a handprint on the wall the same handprint I put there when I was 9 years old I immediately cried thinking of all the horrific things my so-called father did to me I continue looking around I couldn't move much because I was tied to the bottom of a bed I had so many questions was I even discharged out the hospital? why am I naked? where's my son and daughter? where are Royalty and Chris I was interrupted from my thoughts by hearing the steps creak I saw August and another person walk down the steps who is that?

"Wassup Dani"

I shook my head as they came closer I wanted to cover my body but I was tied up

"Why are we here"

"Whatchu mean I just found an abandoned house" he spat

"That happened to be my childhood home," I said rolling my eyes

"Yo what are you doing here?" a familiar voice said

"W-who is it?"

"You saying you don't remember your dad Dani," he said chuckling

" August why did you b-bring him here do you know what he d-did to me?," I said crying

"Nah"

"Tell him d-dad," I said still crying

"I went to jail for something I did to her," he said with no remorse

"What did he do Dani?"

"He r-raped me," I said sobbing loudly

"Wheres my money Santana," he said calling my dad by his first name

"It's upstairs on the coffee table thanks for bringing, her" my dad said walking towards august

"Please no," I said with tears welling up

August went upstairs and locked the door

"Noooo AUGUST" I said as he walked towards me

"I went to jail for 10 years because of you so you gon pay," he said looking at me then back at the door I could tell he was up to something...

"I just had my baby please no," I said crying trying cover up my body

"You should have thought about that  Dani," he said with a smirk on his face  

"Wait before you do this can you answer some questions" 

"Ummm I guess," he said shrugging

"O-ok um" I cleared my throat

It took me a while to come up with the courage to ask this question

"Why did you do that to us," I said playing with my fingers behind my back

"I-I um I don't know i-i just I couldn't control myself," he said on the verge of tears

"i-i just I couldn't believe you would do that to me, I loved you Papi and you betrayed my trust," I said

"I'm sorry Mija if I could take it back I would but" he cleared his throat "Um h-how are they?" he said asking about my mother, sister, and brother.

"They are well Abuela is still in Puerto Rico"

"I'm sorry baby I never meant to put you through all of this I'm so sorry baby girl," he said crying he hugged me and I cried with him "I love you, Danielle I know you won't say it back to me for a while but I truly do love you," he said untieing me why was he doing this what made him change?

"Dad w-why are you doing this," I said on the brink crying

"Because I'm sorry,"

I rushed up the stairs to get my clothes and dashed to the hospital I grabbed my phone off the counter and called an uber

If you don't know my dad suffers from Bi-polorisim and so does August which cause frequent mood changes which affects some of the actions they do...

"WHERE SHE AT" I heard August yell

"She left," he lied

''YOU LET HER GET AWAY DIDNT YOU?!" he said yelling back I ran out the house as fast as I could waiting for the uber to finally come

"Hi my name is Corey are you, Danielle," this pretty light-skinned girl asked me

"Yes I am can you take me to San Rosa Hospital," I said getting in the car

"Yes, I can if you don't mind me asking are you ok?" she said referring to the multiple bruises and scars I had and the big one on my neck I nodded ''why are you going there?"

"Umm I just had a baby and he's still at the hospital"

"Awwwwe it's a boy I always wanted kids"

"You look like you'll be a great mother"

"Yea I would," she said sadly

"Why you say it like that you will someday"

"I won't" she sighed "when I was little I was in a car accident and the passenger seat bent into me and messed up my ovaries wasn't able to have any children," she said sadly then cheered up

"Soooooooo who's the father," she said cheerfully

"Oh um it's August A-August Alsina," I said looking at the ground

"Did he do that to you?" she said pointing to my neck

"Yes," I said crying avoiding eye contact 

"Hey hey hey, it's okay sweetie you're safe now. Here take my number in case you need me," she said at the red light as she handed me her card

"Thank you," I said wiping my tears

"mmhmm" "I hope your gonna be ok'' 

"I'll try he knows everything but I'm moving today so he won't know where I stay"

**They made it to hospital**

"This is my last shift so I'm coming with you'' she said beaming

''You can see my baby'' 

''Ok cool so you can help me name my baby'' she said moving her jacket allowing me to see her baby bump

Something is off with her I need to watch my back...

"Didn't you just say you couldn't have kids?" 

"I can but I won't be able to carry them full term" she said coming up with a quick lie

"Oh ok"

''Awww'' I said rubbing her tiny swollen belly ''How many weeks/months are you?''

"Um I'm not sure, i think 13 months," she said looking away

Something definetly is going on with her
