After being confronted by Jack, I walked into the building. With things going on inside my head didn't care about looking around much and immediately headed up towards the class. My class is on Class-A. As the 'Support and Research Course' are new to the system, we all start by the 2nd year. A sophomore. Following the grades of the current 'Hero Course' who are also sophomores. There won't be any freshman 'Support and Research Course', only the Hero-class. This is due to the fact only sophomores until seniors can be deployed into dangerous situations. In total, our course will only have 3 years instead of 4.

And since it's new. There are only 4 classes with limited quota here for the Support-Class and it was already so hard to get in. Each class's quota differs by letter as well. A has only 20 and they are all the best of the best by score. B has 40. C has 60 and D has 80. The lower your score, the more your class will feel like a small conference or a seminar instead of a proper class. This doesn't apply to the Hero-Class classes though. Per letter, they would have a maximum quota of 15.

I found my class right next to the staircase and managed to enter class 5 minutes earlier before it starts. I see 19 people, and now with me inside we're at maximum student capacity. These people are the best at their stuff. Those worthy enough to be accepted and to become partners with heroes. Most of Class-A according to what I've heard had already found their partners. I then searched for an empty seat. Luckily enough I got my favorite row and position. The 2nd row, first from the left. I then put my bag and calmed myself as I sat down. I sighed and took a deep breath right after. As I was going to open my bag. I noticed a hand patting my right shoulder, I looked to see who it is.

"Hi! I'm Wilbur Gravestone, Firefighter. Nice to meet you!" He introduced himself to me.

"I'm Shiki Nakamiya. Nice to meet you as well, Wilbur."

A friendly conversation! I long for this since my morning breakfast in the cafeteria! Instead what I got was a mockery and got provoked first thing in the morning. A great start for the first day. I think this change of pace was because of Alice's 'Good luck charm' that she sent me earlier via Jack. Wishful thinking, yes. But I want it to feel that way.

By the way, did he say firefighter? If so then the Support-Class like must be more commonly themed than what I was expecting. I expected mini powers such as 'People who could wash clothes without washing them' or 'People who can chop wood by using only a finger but that's what it can only do'. Instead, it's actually people who are the best of the best at their jobs or really damn skilled at something that he or she got accepted. I wonder in what category I'm in...

If so, that just spawned in another question. How does this work?

"Shiki? Are you the one with the Quirk Compendium?"

"Yeah that's me, how do you know that?"

"Well everyone does! You're were #1 in the entry test announcement that was posted online. Plus, you aced it as well." He explained.

"I'm surprised that you knew that I aced it also." I amusingly praised him.

Suddenly another person came up to us.

"That would be because of me. I gave him an exclusive intel that only I could get. I was in the Military Recon Division after all." He proudly stated.

"Ah, hello again Denver." Wilbur greeted.

He greeted Wilbur as well. Then, Denver faced me and formed a soldier's salute.

"Denver McKelly. Former U.S military tasked in reconnaissance. Reporting for duty. Nice to finally make you an acquaintance, Shiki Nakamiya." He introduced himself to me.
