Hoseok
With a spring in his step, Hoseok strolled down the hallway, passing through patients and doctors who walked by. In hand, another bag of chips.
After last night's talk, he managed to elevate Yoongi's mood, something he had previously thought impossible.
Finally, Yoongi could continue working on his case, like they had agreed.
Nothing could possibly ruin that day.
Yoongi
I'm leaving." Yoongi stated, yanking his hand back from the nurse.
"Mr Min! You're shoulder hasn't healed yet!" The poor nurse yelled after him, desperately trying to get the detective back into bed.
But he has had enough.
Hoseok & Yoongi
Upon seeing an enraged Yoongi, Hoseok immediately dropped the chips and ran to his side.
"What's wrong?" Hoseok asked, concern etched on his face.
"Ask that girl over there!" Yoongi spat, teeth clenched and face bright red.
In sync, both Hoseok and the nurse turned their attention towards the lady.
"Whattt? I was only taking a peek. Figured it was the only way to get your attention." She shrugged nonchalantly.
"What did you—oh my god." Hoseok cut himself off, now realising that Yoongi had only been in a hospital gown.
"HOSEOK, COULD YOU PLEASE HAND ME MY GUN?" Yoongi yelled, out stretching his hand.
Everyone now had eyes on the man who was in an argument with an invisible opponent, or so it seemed.
The nurse helping him had backed out of the conversation to another doctor who then paged," umm, could you please call doctor Kim, head of psychiatry, down here please? We kinda have a situation unfolding down here."
Hearing that, Yoongi realised the commotion he had been causing and calmly walked over to the receptionist.
"I'm sorry about that, I was just irritated with the uhh, service. I would like to get my discharge papers ready." He requested, wiping the sweat from his brow.
Just then, Dr Choi walked briskly over, wondering what all the hubbub was about.
"Detective Min, what's wrong?"
"I need to be discharged." Yoongi answered.
"But your shoulder, it's not healed yet." The doctor raised the issue.
"I don't care, I can't spend another second here." Yoongi said firmly.
"Was it the service? The room? We can get you-"
Yoongi interjected, "No! I need get out of this place—"
A sharp pain shot through his shoulder, like a thousand needles digging into his skin.
