Larry has been out of school for a few days, and promised Sal that he'd be back tomorrow. The boy was all Sal could think about as he was pushed to the ground and kicked multiple times in the stomach. Most of the time Larry would show up and stop the abuse, but he's gone. He's not there.
"Learned your lesson yet, fag?" Travis growled, spitting in the ground next to Sal's head.
"Is that what your dad says when he hits you while you suck him o-" The words earned Sal a hard kick to the stomach, causing him to cough and hold onto his torso.
"My father and I are holy men, whom stand above trash like you. I think you'll learn to hold your tongue in our presence, bitch." Travis growled, grabbing Sal by the collar and hoisting him up, holding him inches from his own face.
"Stand above, huh? So you're a top. That's kinda gay, not gunna lie." Sal smirked, tilting his head to the side. Travis threw him back onto the ground, and Sal hit with a harsh THUD.
He felt a massive headache starting to form as his head bounced off the floor. Travis shook his head and walked away from the scene. Sal sat up a bit, wincing as he committed to standing fully up.
"Asshole..." Sal muttered, looking at himself in the mirror. He looked disheveled to say the least; messy hair that stuck out every which direction from under the straps of his prosthetic, the collar on his shirt was stretched and hung loosely from his neck.
The blue haired boy ignored the messy appearance and made his way out of the door, walking to his next class. His last one for the day; but Travis wasn't done yet.
...
Sal shoved open Larry door, startling the brunette. Larry noticed the shaky demeanor of Sal and got up, approaching him slowly.
"You ok? You look like shit... what happened?" Larry asked, looking at Sal's trembling hands, then gently grabbing them and holding them in his own. Sal bit his lip and tried to walk forward into the room, but stumbled, his legs refusing to budge. "Woah, hey... let me help you." Larry said, wrapping Sal's arm around his shoulder and walked him over to the bed.
"He hurt me... but he didn't mean to... there were others." Sal said shakily. Larry looked over the boy before sighing and pulling him into his chest. "They pushed me down... and then I heard something. A-A sound... and started freaking out. Travis stopped... but the others laughed as they realized what I was freaking out at. They-" Sal broke down before he could finish, gripping Larry's shirt and choking back sobs.
"Woah, Sal, dude... it's ok, take your time. Deep breaths, it's ok." Larry said, rubbing circles into Sal's back.
"They grabbed me. Stood me up, pulled me towards the noise. I managed to get out of their grip and run- but.. they got me again, Lar... and started pushing me towards the fucking creature as it continued to bark.." Sal said, slowly regaining his composure. Larry had never heard him talk about the incident, but he knew that he didn't like dogs. But he wasn't sure how much he hated dogs.
"They're assholes... no, I won't stand for this. Fuck them." Larry said, getting to his feet. Sal grabbed his hand.
"Please don't... they don't know- they... they can't understand..." Sal said, taking his hand back to cover his mouth as tears filled his one eye once again.
"What am I supposed to do?! What do you want me to do?! Why do you come to me if you won't let me do anything?!?" Larry shouted, turning towards Sal. The blue haired boy looked up at his friend, shocked.
"I'm not sure... not sure what I expected. I'm sorry... I-I shouldn't push my problems onto you, you have your own problems I shouldn't tell you mine, it makes it worse... I don't want you to feel worse, please I'm sorry..." Sal said, standing up and backing towards the door.
"Hey, no... Sal I'm sorry, I shouldn't have snapped, it's just- I care way too much not to beat someone's ass into the ground if they even bumped into you and didn't apologize. I- Sal, dude you're... different. I feel different around you than I do around Todd or Ash, and I can't explain it." Larry said, walking over to Sal and grabbing his shoulders gently. "Please... stay. Talk to me, open up, vent as much as you want. I need you here.. I need to make sure you're ok."
"I- but... I don't want to bother you." Sal said quietly, placing his hands over Larry's.
"No. It's no bother... stay." Larry said. Sal bit his lip before nodding. The two vented all night, talking about their problems and saying everything on their mind.
Everything except one thing.
Their feelings...

If you even need to vent, my DM's are open. Talk to me, or someone. Make a different account so I don't know who you are if you need to, so you can say anything- just don't keep it bottled up.
Please.
