"Can you summon him at will? Does he talk to you a lot? Is he nice? Can I learn how to summon him?" Travis asked, adrenaline buzzing through him.
"Slow down, Trav. No, I can only summon him if my emotions are extreme enough to reach through to the other side. Extreme fear, extreme sadness, or a mix of both. We communicate a bit through my dreams. He is nice, he's a real Edgar Allen Poe type guy, poems and edge all around, but he's there if I need him. No. You cannot learn how to summon him, sadly. I'm not sure how I even gained the ability of conjuration to be honest." Sal replied, sighing as he answered the last question.
"One more question... please?" Travis asked. Sal thought for a moment before nodding his head yes. "Do you have your own... abilities? Like, I don't know... can your eyes turn red? Can you shoot stuff out of your hands? Does your hair defy the laws of gravity?" Travis questioned with a star-struck gaze.
"No, Travis. I'm only a human with great connections to the other side." Sal winked.
"Hm... alright. Thank!" Travis shouted, then started walking away down the sidewalk. Sal couldn't help but laugh as Larry shook his head.
"Who knew he could be such a fan boy." Larry smiled.
"Well I do have my own fan club don't you know." Sal joked. The two laughed before walking into the apartments. They entered the elevator and sal stopped Larry from slipping in the keycard. "Ah, Ah. Up." Sal said, pressing the button for the fifth floor. They waited in silence as the elevator rode all the way to the top, then opened and demanded they left.
The two walked off the elevator and towards Megan's bathroom. Sal was the first to open the door, sighing before pulling out the super gearboy.
"Megan? Are you here?" He asked, looking around the bathroom. A scream was heard and Megan appeared before the two.
"Sally face! Larry face!" She smiled. Larry took off his jacket and put it on the floor so both boys could sit down on the dirty floor.
"Hey, Meg." Larry smiled.
The three shared a long conversation that lasted until around eleven at night. Megan sighed a bit and looked over at Sal.
"You seem dark. What's wrong?" Megan asked.
"Hm? Oh, nothing. Just tired." Sal smiled sweetly. Megan nodded before stretching.
"Then I guess it's time to go?" She asked.
"Uh... yeah, I guess. It is pretty late if I'm being honest." Larry said, peering down at his phone.
"Alright. Sally face, I need to talk to Larry face alone for a moment if that's ok?" Megan asked.
"Oh, uh, yeah sure. I'll be right outside, Lar." Sal smiled before getting up and walking just outside the door to wait.
"Larry face..." Megan's voice was suddenly serious. "Sally face isn't... ok. He's in danger. Be carful- I'll say it only once. Your next action will determine his fate." Megan said before melting into the floor. Larry was shocked, but got up and left the bathroom.
"Hey, everything ok?" Sal asked.
"Oh yeah. She just wanted to know if we were together.. I told her no then proceeded to tell her how much I love you." Larry smirked. Sal laughed a bit before intertwining their fingers together as they made their way to the basement.
"You seem a bit shaken, what's up?" Sal asked as they stepped out of the elevator.
"Hm? Nothing. Everything is ok. I'm just tired is all." Larry replied, kissing Sal's cheek.
