Sal grabbed the syringe from out of his neck and drove it into Todd. Todd stumbled back, looking at Sal with fear in his eyes. He grabbed the syringe out of his shoulder and threw it off to the side while Larry attempted to calm down Sal.

"What did you do to me?!" Sal asked, his voice deeper and somehow demonic. Todd pushed up his glasses.

"Holy water. If you won't leave, we'll force you out." Todd replied. Ashley looked over at Todd with an angry gaze.

"Asshole! That could kill Sal! You're basically poisoning him from the inside out!" She shouted. "Fuck all of you! Except Sal! I will not be apart of this! Sal, come with me." Ashley reached out to take Sal's hand, but the boy grabbed her and pushed her. It wasn't a light push: with his enhanced strength due to the possession, she skidded all the way to the other side of the room and hit the wall; hard.

Larry looked over, stunned. He slowly turned to Sal, whom was shaking like crazy and looking at his hands.

"What'd you do.." Larry whispered as Todd ran over to the injured girl.

"I-I didn't mean to.." Sal whispered. Larry gently took his hand as Todd glared back at him.

"She's alive. Just knocked out." Todd glared. "But that doesn't excuse anything. We need to fix this; or end it." Todd snarled, making his way towards Sal, who stepped slightly in front of Larry.

"You're willing to kill a good friend to temporarily end this demon?" Larry asked, intertwining his and Sal's fingers together.

"Kill one person to prevent the death of the world? Yeah." Sal flinched at those words, he had never seen this side of Todd. Ashley stirred, getting up and rubbing her head lightly. "What has he done for us, Larry? Sure, Travis is nice now, but abuse from a high schooler is better than abuse by a literal demon! He caused us pain. A lot of pain. But we love him! And care for him! And in return he does the same for us. But we can't live like this. Something needs to snap, to break. We need to end this." Todd growled.

"If you fucking touch him," Larry nudged Sal behind him and clenched his fists, "You'll be dealing with more problems than a demon." Todd shook his head, then got a small device out of his bag and approached Sal. "Todd..." Larry growled.

"Todd, what's your problem!? Listen to yourself! Sal is our friend... he wouldn't hurt us! He wouldn't do that! This isn't him, and it sure as hell isn't you!" Ashley yelled from behind. Sal pushed Larry away as Todd lunged towards the bluenette. Just as Todd grabbed Sal, a dark mist surrounded both of them, it seemingly came from Sal.

Ashley and Larry freaked out, not knowing what to do. Just as they were about to run into it, the most cleared.

But Todd wasn't there. Just sal, silently sobbing on the floor.
