5. Special Arrangements

"THREE MORE LAPSES!" Arthit yelled at the first years in the oval field.

A few students were absent from the gathering and so they had to do as many lapses as the number of absentees. The head hazer was furious when no one could answer where the missing students were.

When they were all done, they went back to their lines in front of the bleachers where the hazers were. Aim, Kongpob's best friend, silently called his attention.

"Did something happen?"

Kongpob shook his head. There couldn't be anything that would anger his fiance except for the missing first years.

"Alright!" Arthit yelled. "You clearly left the U in our code. Unity! This is one for all. All for one! If one kid is missing someone's bound to know where he or she is. If this ever happens again, lapses will be doubled!"

A united groan was heard in the field. Arthit scoffed along with the other hazers. "You protest in unity, how very nice. Drop down and give me twenty. NOW!"

"Ugh. My palms hurt!" Maprang complained after all the activities were done.. She's one of Kongpob's classmates. She, together with May, and Prae had formed a group with Aim, Tee, and Kongpob in their class.

"You'll be fine," May said.

"Right," Maprang uttered sarcastically. "Unlike you, I don't have a boyfriend who massages my hands or feet after all this hellish shit."

May pursed her lips, smiling proudly, much to Maprang's grimace. Aim was still massaging May's palms. Maprang uttered an "I'm so jealous!" asked Aim to massage his palms, too.

"Hey!" May blocked her friend from sitting next to Aim. "Get your own masseuse!"

"Masseur, babe. Masseur." Aim corrected.

"Oh," May grinned and turned to Maprang. "Yeah, get your own masseur."

The rest of the group chuckled overhearing the trio. All of them were seated in the bleachers with, minding their own business. Prae and Tew were talking on their phones. Kongpob was texting with someone.

"Hey, Kongpob!" Tew had finished his phone call and turned to Kongpob. "How was the Moon and Star gathering?"

The only other alpha of the group shrugged his shoulders. He pointed at Prae, the other alpha. "Ask her. She knows more."

Kongpob and Prae had been chosen to represent their faculty on the upcoming Search for the University Moon and Star. They both weren't a fan of it but accepted it as their responsibility.

While Tew and the rest began asking Prae questions about the pageant, Kongpob received an urgent call.

"I'll head first, guys. It's an emergency. Sorry." Kongpob gathered his stuff quickly and left.

"He looked so worried," Tee noticed. "What could it be?"

"I'm here!" Kongpob reached the Rojnapat apartment. He drove there soon as he received a call from Arthit's mother. Wayo was crying in the background crying Daddy.

"Daddy!" Wayo ran to his father when he saw him by the door. Kongpob then picked his son up soon aa they met in the middle.

"What happened?" The young alpha asked his future in-law.

Arthur sighed and motioned Kongpob to sit down. "He woke up asking for you. You know he doesn't really cry and demand for something. You rushed here?"
