Anyone who knows the couple would know how much Kongpob's family means to him. They are his life, the air he breaths, his everything. At a young age, he has proven himself more than capable. He's still a student, yes, but he's done more than an average father could. Granted, different fathers have their own ways of taking care and providing for their family.
Being the son of a walthy family was a huge advantage to the young alpha. He has been grateful for that. He knows he is blessed and every waking moment, he thanked the heavens for having such kind and warm he can fall to-- a safety net if you may.
Arthit on the other hand knows how lucky he is for having Kongpob as his partner. He loves him with all his heart and he couldn't ask for anyone else. That never came to his mind at all, not even once.
The young omega has big plans for his family. He knows Kongpob will be on his way to leading the Sutthilak family in the future and he does anything he can to be a worthy partner to the alpha. Being the best he could in college was not enough. He has to be best he could in everything.
These two are the best parents Wayo could ever have. It's the answer to the very same question that often runs in the couple's mind. If only the young boy knows how to tell him. His "I love you's" should be enough.
Kongpob and Arthit love hearing those words from. Only the beautiful ones. They never wanted to hear anything else especially if those words would be "hurt".
That word alone sent waves of anger onto the alpha's veins one morning. The two year old came running to his father when the latter visited him at the daycare center Art would bring his grandson. Wayo had tears rolling down his cheeks as he hugged tightly on his father's neck. He kept saying "it hurt". Kongpob was enraged.
Art was right behind Wayo when the boy saw his father standing by the classroom's door.
"What happened," Kongpob asked Art as he tried to comfort his son. Wayo was sobbing against him and every little sound hurt the alpha like a fresh and deep wound on his skin.
Art looked apologetic as he explained what happened a few seconds before Kongpob arrived. "It's the boy he was playing with. He suddenly... throw a piece of building block and...it hit his back. I was just getting something for it. He was crying and I know it must have hurt a lot."
Another teacher from the daycare handed Art a first aid kit and a small cold pack. Art took and immediately check on his grandson's back. It was little red and the omega soothingly told the boy he was going to put something in his back to take the pain away. Wayo said, "Wokay" as he nodded.
"It couldn't have hurt him," another woman behind Art interrupted. She happened to be the other boy's mother. "Come on. It was just small toy. He's wearing a thick shirt--
One look from Kongpob and the woman was silenced. She's a beta and she didn't stand a chance against the alpha's angry aura. Kongpob didn't utter a word, he just gave the woman a look as he held his son against his chest, protecting from the woman's words and everything else that could harm him. He kept the cold pack on Wayo's back as he held him.
Art turned to the woman and gave her a stern look before heading back inside to tell the co-teacher he was leaving the children in her care. He was also a teacher there, part-time. His full time job is as manager of the apartment building he and Arthit, and Wayo live in. It's the same apartment that the Vongviphan offered for them to move into.
"I'm sorry, Kongpob." Art felt guilty for not being able to stop what happened to his grandson.
"It's not your fault, mom." Kongpob said they walked back to his car. He was angry that his son was hurt but he tried to think about the whole thing logically. It for a brief moment but he felt anger towards whomever hurt his son. It's instinct for an alpha to feel protective of their loved ones. Being angry at anything or anyone that hurt his precious family was to be expected.
"Daddy..." Wayo uttered as be curled his little hand behind his father's neck. Kongpob unlocked his car and Art quickly opened the door to the backseat.
"Does it still hurt?" Kongpob asked softly. Art motioned to check on Wayo's back and Kongpob nodded.
The boy shook his head but his grandfather checked on him anyway. The redness seemed to have disappeared. "I'm really sorry buddy." Art ruffled his grandson's hair before he let him go.
"I'm wokay," Wayo replied as he turned to his grandmother. He even flashed a small smile before he looked at his father. "I'm wokay, Daddy."
Kongpob returned his son's words with a gentle smile. "So let's go home and wait for Papa?"
Wayo beamed and nodded vigorously.

Arthit was livid when he heard his son got bullied at the daycare. He was huffing and mumbling angrily as he put his shoes back on ready to face the mother of the boy who hurt his son.
"Babe," Kongpob called as he walked towards his fiance and stopped him from leaving. "Don't you rather stay with us than go somewhere you don't know in the middle of dinner?"
Arthit paused and realized he didn't know who he was going to storm to or how he was going to get there. As best he could, he tried to suppress his emotions and Wayo came running towards the hallway.
"Papa! Dinner is ready." He was as proud as the piece of pumpkin pie on the tip of his nose. Art prepared a hearty meal with pumpkin pie for dessert and Wayo helped him... somehow. He had a couple of hours nap while Kongpob did some of his homework. He didn't have class the whole afternoon that's why he was at the daycare to surprise his son.
"I see..." Arthit said with a smile growing on his lips. The boy in front of him with that little dessert stuck on his nose was too irresistible to deny and leave.
Kongpob was all smiles as he watched Arthit pick up their son and the three of them headed to the dining room. They haven't taken their seats when the doorbell rang and Art came out running open it.
The Sutthilak grandparents came in and Kongpob's mother immediately went fussing over her grandson regarding the incident earlier that day. She gave the boy a hug and told him how much he loves him.
Arthit and Kongpob couldn't help but be touched by the action. Their son is so loved and they were very happy about it.
The family began to share their dinner but not before the boy's "I love you" to his parents were uttered. Arthit almost teared up.

I don't know what I'm writing anymore. 😂 This family is driving me nuts. I don't have a cute cute family to use as reference. I haven't had time to watch tv series either. No inspiration at all.
Anyway, I did watch Cherry Magic, the Japanese BL series. They're so adorable. I'm loving the show. Please watch guys. You'll love it, too.
See you soon,
Zia
