"Grayson Stephen Prapathorn!" The voice of a woman made the eight year old frown deeply.

"That's your que, buddy." Mew Rojnapat said with a light chuckle. "She's calling you by your full name now. You're in trouble." The two of them were by Mew's garage. The alpha was fixing something in his car while the boy watched, waiting for Mew's permission to let him see his son.

"Come on, uncle." Grayson whined as he latched on the man's torso. "Can't you and uncle Art just adopt me so I don't have to deal with my nagging mother? Homework here. Homework there. Piano lessons there. Taekwondo lessons there. It's never ending!"

Mew chortled as he put away his tools. He took his gloves odd and ruffled the boy's hair. "That's what mothers do to prepare their kids for their future."

"But I'm only eight!" Grayson complained with a pout. "I'd rather hang out with Arthit and play."

"He's only two," Mew said. "And you're more like babysitting him than playing with him."

"Same thing. Ugh."

"How about this. You go to your mother now and then you can ask her if you can hang out with Arthit later," Mew suggested.

"Really?" Grayson's face beamed. As an only child, he grew fond of his neighbor's two year old.

"Yes." Mew nodded. "Your uncle Art will even make you pinkmilk later. How's that?"

"Deal!" The boy gave Mew two thumbs up and left running back next door. His mother was looking for him in their backyard.

"Dr. Grayson?" A nurse came into the doctor's office where Grayson was finishing with his paperwork for the day.

"Yes, Nurse Lin?" He said while his eyes never left his laptop screen.

"The rheumatologist you requested for the patient named Sutthilak earlier called," the nursed said as she stood in front of the doctor's desk. "She said she will be in town this week. She asked that the result for the genetic tests with the boy's parents be ready before she arrives."

Dr. Jung looked up and gave the nurse nod. The doctor he consulted with is an expert on auto immune disorders. "Got it."

"Um...will you be heading out soon, Dr. Grayson?"

"It's Dr. Jung, Nurse Lin." The doctor said as he put his attention back to his work. He preferred to be called by his last name, the name he adopted when his mother remarried. He only let a few people call him by his first name. "I still have something to take care of for my work at Kanthapat. You can leave."

"O-Okay."

The doctor wasn't keen on getting the unwanted attention from the nurses and doctors, male and female, no matter the second gender was. He only had one person in his mind and heart and that was not going to change.

"P'Arthit?" Kongpob slowly entered his fiance's bedroom after he had arrived later that evening. It was already late. Wayo was fast asleep on the bed while Arthit sat against the headboard with his computer on his laptop.

The omega hadn't made any work done for school even after his son had fallen asleep the last couple of hours. He knew he and to get his homework done because during the day, he would be busy with class and hazing a activities and paperwork.
