"What are you worried about?" Art asked his son as Arthit packed his stuff for the weekend trip with the engineering department. "You've gone somewhere before. It will be fine."

The younger omega sighed as he put the last items in his luggage. "I know..."

Wayo was helping him put his clothes into his suitcase. Arthit watched as his son tried to close the zippers, something he would do whenever he zipped his backpack for school.

It had only been a day since the boy was bullied at his daycare and what he felt was still fresh in Arthit's mind. He didn't want to leave his son even when he fully knew his mother could take care of Wayo well. He had gone to a trip before but Kongpob was there to watch their son. This time, both of them were leaving the boy. He couldn't help but be anxious. It was groundless the deeper he thought about it but he is a mother and he couldn't help it.

Wayo flashed his cheeky grin when he successfully zipped the suitcase shut. His little fingers played with the top part, tapping it lightly for the job well done by him. Arthit made sure the bag wasn't fully packed so it could be closed easily.

"Thanks, buddy." Arthit ruffled his son's hair and sat next to him on the bed.

"You're welcome, Papa." The boy climbed onto his mother's lap after Arthit spread his arms for him. "You come back soon?"

"I won't be gone long, okay? It's just for one day and one night," Arthit replied as he returned the puppy eyes staring at him.

"So very fast then?" Wayo asked again with his lips pouting adorably. His mother resisted pinching at them.

"Mm. Very fast," Arthit replied with a gently smile.

"Like this?" Wayo asked while showing one finger to mean one day.

"Mm." Arthit nodded with a smile. Arthur chuckled at how adorable his grandson is. "Just one day," Arthit added.

"Wokay."

"How did it go? Leaving Yo." Knott asked Arthit once the latter had climbed into the bus that would take them to the mountain resort where the gear ceremony was going to take place. The said resort is two towns away right at the heart of endless forest. Rested on the side of a mountain, the resort is an amazing getaway destination.

The faculty's original plan was to have the ceremony held at a beach. Due to last minute changes in the schedule, they weren't able to book their rooms according to plan. Bradley, Arthit's best friend, had a contingency plan and that was to book a resort for the faculty at the mountain resort.

Arthit shrugged at Knott's question. He couldn't say he almost cried as he said goodbye to his son. Even Kongpob was hesitant to leave. The young alpha even thought of bringing their son with them.

"If it was a different case, you could have brought him," Knott said. "I miss that little guy."

"I miss him already," Arthit mumbled.

"So...about the ceremony," Knott said steering their conversation away from Arthit and him missing his son.

"Ah," Arhit raised his head, his mind slowly shifting to work mode. "I made some calls before I arrived. Everything is set."

Knott nodded. He knew Arthit would make sure everything was set even after checking a couple of times. Brad was a big help, he mused. Knott and the rest of the hazers had hell during the time they planned for the ceremony with Arthit. It was a lot of work but it was rewarding to see that the freshmen were finally getting their gear.

The alpha smiled as be thought of a particular person.

"What's the smile for?" Arthit asked.

"Hm?" Knott turned to Arthit. "I was just thinking..."

"Of... someone?" Arthit teased. He had seen the same smile from his best friend and he knew Knott was fancying someone. He was happy for him.

Knott only smiled more. His tanned complexion was painted red when the last passengers of the bus boarded. A certain freshman looked his way and shyly waved at him.

Arthit elbowed Knott when he saw the gesture Tew did as he walked towards them. "He likes you," he said.

"R-Really?" Knott asked, a little surprised. He and Arthit don't usually talk bluntly about relationships. Knott would give him advice while he remained quiet and reserved about the topic, for the most part.

"What? You don't know already?" Arthit said with wrinkled brows.

Knott shook his head. He turned to their side and Tew was looking at him. He averted his gaze just as quickly as his eyes locked with Knott's.

The conversation behind Arthit and Knott, that of the other hazers on board had become louder as the bus started to move. The omega subtly looked around and see if Kongpob was in the same bus. Sadly, he wasn't. To distract himself, he turned to chat with his seatmate instead.

"P'Arthit..."

"Jesus!" Arthit jumped at the sound of Kongpob's voice. He was just getting his luggage out of the compartment on the side of bus when the alpha sneaked behind him. "Why did you do that for?" He asked, hissing as he hesitantly let his fiance take his bag.

Kongpob pursed his lips trying to keep himself from smiling widely. Ever since he left with Arthit, he had been anxious. He was separated from their son and he was assigned to a different bus. He was restless the whole ride and Aim couldn't have been more anxious than he was as he was seated next to him.

Seeing Arthit get off his bus lifted the heaviness off his chest. It was hard to breath. The two hour long ride was way too long for him. One other thing that made Kongpob feel jittery was the fact that their doctor had come along to the gear giving ceremony.

"Are you feeling okay?" Kongpob asked as the two of them started to head to their lodging areas.

"Mm, yeah." Arthit nodded. He felt a lot better now that he was walking with Kongpob.

Their phones dinged simultaneously and it was followed by smiles upon reading their own messages. It was a photo from Art showing Wayo grinning at the camera holding his plush wolf and a toy spatula. The message said, "My assistant in the kitchen for the next 36 hours. He's excited to make pudding. Not promising if there's any left tomorrow. Your loss!"

The two walked with a smile. Their son is going to be okay.

"I'm assigned to building three," Kongpob uttered as they neared the first building. The lodgings were four large wooden cabins with two levels. There were a few small private ones but a little more expensive. There is a natural pool next to the first cabin and man-made ones next to the others.

Arthit smiled to himself remembering how he changed some of the arrangements. Kongpob was assigned to building two originally. Arthit was assigned to building three. Since there were rooms available, he had his alpha assigned to the same building.

Kongpob felt his heart skip at the smile his omega was wearing and the blush that quickly crept up his ear. Their eyes met for a split second before Arthit looked away quickly. Kongpob couldn't wait to arrive at the omega's room so they could be alone. Or his room since he would be alone-- no roommate.

Just thinking about them being in a room together in the middle of a beautiful resort made him feel hot from the pit of his stomach. The butterflies we're back as they would from time to time, never failing to make feel nervous and excited to spend an intimate time with his omega.

"Babe..." Kongpob whispered when he felt Arthit's pheromones spike along with his nerves going haywire. Their wavelength were in sync. It was a beautiful thing only mated couples have.

"Y-Your room," Arthit said softly before he walked fast to get to the stairs leading to the second floor. Thet were yet to speak to the didn't desk but that thought went out the window the second Arthit felt the arousal from his alpha.
