Chapter Twenty-Four

*Pandora's Pov*

"So let us get this straight, John jumped through the literal portal to hell and you jumped willingly after him?" Chas asked, and all their eyes looked like they were going to pop out of their head. 

"And you were pregnant too?" Zed added, and I nodded. 

"Now this demon, he's getting stronger than ever because of all the souls he is obtaining." I told them. 

"You would've thought John would call us if things were this bad." Ritchie finally spoke, and I raised an eyebrow. 

"He told me you guys weren't on the best of terms lately?" I questioned. 

"Is that what he told you? He got upset because we didn't tell him about you." 

"Oh, Jasper wanted it that way." I said in response. 

"We felt bad about the whole ordeal, but we saw how much he cares about you, like nobody else he's ever cared about; and we just wanted you to be safe Pandora." Zed explains to me. 

"What is you came to ask us anyway?" Chas asked. 

"I need you guys, to make sure John doesn't try to save me."

"What do you mean?" 

"We've seen it in my visions, it seems the only way to be able to stop him is for him to posses me and we go from there- and there is a chance I might not be strong enough to do it on my own and there's a chance I'll lose the fight with Neron and my soul will be his forever." I looked down towards my feet. 

"Pandora, you know we can't stop John from doing everything he can to save you." Zed spoke. 

"I know, and that's why I'm asking for your help to defeat Neron not just for me but to save the world." I explained. 

"You know this is insane right?" Chas added. 

"So of course we'll help you." Ritchie spoke and a smile crept onto my face. 

After they all had agreed to help us stop Neron, I had brought them back on the waverider to consult with the rest of the crew. Using my time courier we have went onto the main deck of the ship where we had met up with everyone else. 

"Pandora?" I heard John's voice causing me to turn my head into the direction in which I heard it from. 

"Yes?" I responded.

"You can't just disappear like on me like that." He came walking back up to me pulling me into a hug. 

"Chas, Zed, Ritchie." John said their names one after another introducing them even though he had no idea what they were actually here for. 

"Love did you catch them up already?" John asked as I nodded my head. 

"Okay then, Nate how long is it expected to complete the theme park?" Sara questioned.

"If they worked weekends 2 years at best..." His voice drifted off. 

"Unless we had a magical journal?" Sara added. 

"Well yeah but Neron has the Time Bureau-" Ava went to add before getting cut off by Mick. 

"Got it." He spoke and raised up the book by his head as Ava laughed and shook her head. 

"Nate go with Zari and start on that immediately!" Sara ordered them as they went off on their own. 

"You guys can stay in my room." I pointed towards the other part of the team and told them as they nodded and left the room. 

"I have something I need to do." I told John making my way to the library making sure he wasn't following me. 

"Gideon." 

"Yes Ms. Archer?" 

"I need you to calculate the probability I'll be able to stop Neron." 

"Given with recent previsions 21 percent chance." 

"I need you to give me every single fucking book on demons that you have Gideon." 

"I'm sorry but Ms Archer even with those factored in there's only still a 29 probability" 

I had picked up a vase and threw it against the floor watching it smash to thousands of pieces. 

"Dammit Gideon that's not good enough!" I screamed as I picked up a bottle of wine and dropped it onto the floor. 

"Pandora! Pandora!" I heard John's voice yelling for me as he ran around the corner to the library.  

"Calm down, what's wrong love?" 

"I can't do it Constantine. Even if I put everything I possibly can it won't be enough.." 

"Listen love, someone once told me that this wasn't only just my fight." 

"You told me that there was something deeper inside of me John, when you asked me for help. I need your help to release it, I need to stop him John." I felt tears forming in my eyes. 

"Pandora, you are a good, pure soul.  It would ruin you..." He dragged on. 

"John, if it would save the world, save you I'll do just about anything." 

"Pandora my love, listen to yourself. This isn't you. You're not me, you're not reckless." He spoke softly as he tucked my hair behind my ear. 

"You'd run away, because I'm not what you found?" Tears slowly started coming down my cheeks. 

"Rora, you know that's not what I'm saying I bloody love you." He cupped my cheeks with his hands tears forming in his eyes.

"But I need you to trust me, it would ruin you and I could never forgive myself for being the cause of your damnation." He added.

"Johny..please don't cry."

"I-I need yo-you to und-understand the impor-importance of this." He stuttered out, as I saw the orange light in his eyes. 

"I love you John Constantine." Speaking then planting my lips on top of his. 

"I love you as well love." He broke then kiss to speak then aggressively planting his lips back on top of mine, gently biting on my bottom lip bringing it down to my chin. 

He grabbed both of my wrists pinning them above my head interlocking his fingers, whispering, "Forever?"

"Forever John Constantine."
