II THE SCENTS: Lycoris Mate

Chapter 4

Another morning strikes onto my face and my alarm kept on buzzing up. I yawned before stretching my whole body before getting myself ready. As I finish my quick shower, a buzzing sound echoed through the entire house. With that, I quickly wore some suitable and presentable clothing that made me look so professional then gone down stairs to check who was it. Well, I knew who it was.

"I'm older than I look." I told the delivery guy who's eyeing me from head to toe. He's definitely making sure if I was the right person who will receive or drive the car.

The car was indeed the not my vintage car yet it's my favorite model; mustang. Its a ruby-red 2019 Mustang Ecoboost Fastback.

"My apologies, please sign this Ma'am." the delivery guy from car dealer of Ford said to me as he lent a receiving stamp and made me signed it.

After signing, he congratulated me before he left the keys onto my hand and leave. As the guy left, my serious-poker face suddenly lifted and made me smirked since the queen indeed presented me what she promised. Well, it's a payment from the previous vintage mustang car I owned before. Celestial Ceres Aspire, my so-called Queen Luna and my savior definitely can wreck or ruined any thing she holds and my car wasn't an exception to that. I really don't like handling my car to her anymore because it always happened whenever she returned my keys.

"Perfect timing, Avery. I've got the car. Tell Ceres, she paid it off." I chuckled as I answered the phone that just rang.

'Good, I will tell her. Also, I call you since your meeting at the Creedenson's estate is tonight. Remember to look for the Royal Luna.'

"Okay, I've got it." I mental noted of it since I almost forgot them because of that wolf last night.

'You know the reason why your there, right?'

"Business then I'm off after that." I said flatly as I ignore the fact of knowing what she meant by it.

'Alek. She knew that you found it already so don't screw this one.'

"Fine. I've gotta go, I've school to attend." I groaned since I don't want to recall that night and Avery just chuckled before hanging up.

After hanging up, I looked back to my new car and smiled since I'm ready for a test drive. I took some things and put them all together inside the bag before getting my bloody coat then off to school.

The drive as indeed insanely lovely and smooth that made me love it even more. As I reached the school ground, it has indeed open park in front of the school. But as I got at the parking, it was way bigger than I expected. There's tons of parking space for the students as well for the teachers but as I got out of the car, I can feel those same eyes fixed onto my back. It's not threatening nor curious one but it was indeed longing and excited. I don't know why I felt this way until I was being cut off but super high class security.

"Woah, too high tech." I mumbled to myself as I prepared the things need to be scanned.

It's high class since it does the human and bag scanning for typical students or anyone who works here. But this one was too much since it also have thumb marks, eyes and ID scanning. It's for the exclusive teachers meaning, a teacher who can handle difficult or unique students and that's where I'm assigned at.

"I hope I'll do good." I whispered to myself after passing the security measures and went straight to the teachers' lounge.

Nothing much happened at the teacher's lounge aside from greetings and wishing me good luck after they learned to what class I'm assigned. I was curious if I'm still a human being but no more. Also, I've got already some clue since I received some emails that notified me about 'S Class' as well those students taking that class. I checked all of their records carefully and they were all wolves. I sighed on how this will be difficult in some ways but I never realized that I will be in serious trouble when I read her name on my student list.

"So you're in my class." I whispered as I pinched my nose since my mind reminded me the irritating scent from that wolf last night.

Exactly, the bell rang and went to my designated class; the S classroom.

The class wasn't too far from the teacher lounge, so I made it just in time. When I entered the class, everyone wasn't here yet. I sighed before putting my things on the desk and began to write something on the board. I can tell they were wondering what I'm doing but I don't care for now. As I finished, I turned and meet them.

"Okay, everyone settle down. I'm Aleksys Jade DeVera, your new music and art professor." I began to introduce myself to the class who were in silence.

"Okay, so, as you noticed I wrote something on the board and this will be your task for this week..." I continued as some of them whine until somebody came in without knocking the class door.

They came inside with such loud noises of laughter like they own this room. Everyone in the class laughed and some just shook their heads but me - I'm not happy at all.

"So, you guys the famous rule breakers." I greeted that finally caught their attention.

I knew them from last night but I've got the feeling they didn't realize it's me except that irritating scent. My eyes looked around them and I found the scent led my eyes to the only girl behind them. But I snapped from looking at her when some chuckled butting onto my staring.

"And you are?" One of the boys asked me but I just smiled.

"Know for yourself. Ask your classmates what's your task for this week." I only replied before turning to the whole class who chuckled on my remarks.

"Take note of this, every meeting I'm gonna check your works and by friday prepare for roll calls." I announced that made them whined.

"We just meet you and now your being hard on us. Be fair." Another guy from the same group complained.

I smiled that made me walked toward them and lean close to them. I can tell some of them were being intimidating about my presence except from her. I can feel that she likes what I'm doing but we both don't show any emotion about it. Her likeness to what I am doing and mine, my irritation towards her scent.

"Mister Richard Thompson, the rules in my class were only three, attendance, meet the task I give to you, lastly, respect and listen to me if you want me to do the same to you. If not, what you're doing here in the first place?" I firmly told to them but not just them but everyone in the class.

Everyone was speechless especially him. I nodded before walking back to the desk in front. I began to scribble something since I want to do the same task I gave them.

'I like it mate.'

"Shut up and do your task." I replied irritably through mind telepathy when I heard her flattery comment.

'As you wish.'

This school year with her will be such irritating roller coaster ride. I hope I will manage to survive.
