II THE SCENTS: Lycoris Mate

In my deepest slumber, I saw something shining at the center of this dark place and its surrounding were sparkling like stars in the night sky. I went closer to my expectation, the light was that bright but it was warm enough to make it much more alive then I heard a sudden pumped. It beat like a heart and when my curiosity kicked in. As I reach out to touch it, a sudden whirlwind began to swirled around drastically and black, red and white smoke began to wrap around me.
I tried to get away from it but it just tighten even more until I couldn’t see anything.

‘Finally you came.’

An angelic voice echoed through the empty space.

‘It's time for you to wake up.’

I don’t understand what she was trying to say since I couldn’t see anything but darkness.

“Show yourself.” I demanded that made her chuckled.
‘You know to yourself who am I since you’ve been saved by my Immortal kids.’
“Goddess.” I finally guessed when she mentioned them.
‘Indeed I am. So child, wake up and be who you’re.’
“I don’t understand what you mean by it?” I asked confusedly that made her chuckled.
‘You know what I meant. You just don’t want to admit it and just by doing so, you’re confused and won’t understand.’
“Seriously, I don’t.” I sighed in defeat and she giggled before a sudden light came into view.

I saw a very familiar castle and all of the sudden it made me teared up since it was my lost home, the Cornelius castle.

‘My child, that wasn’t your home…’

Seriously, I’m so confused when she said it like that.

‘...that’s Aspire clan and where Ceres came from.’
“Why are you showing this castle?” I asked the goddess as my eyes still on the scene she’s showing me.
‘This is where your father grew up even his the only human who was most loyal also who earned the trust of the entire Aspire clan.’
“Did they enslaved him?” I wondered as I watched my teenager father serving the Aspire king and queen.
‘No, he was the very first young a head butler on his teen. He served really well and treated well but when chaos erupted in the vampire council, the King and Queen Aspire took a drastic measure to keep him and sent to the King of the werewolf clan since werewolves protect humans.’
“I don’t get your point, Goddess no offense.” I groaned since I seriously don’t get what she’s trying to say.
‘My point is that your father possessed the knowledge of the existence of all night creatures. I prepared him for your mother. He’s called Cornelius.’
“Wait, he’s called Cornelius? That’s his surname right?” I asked since I’m not sure if I heard it right.
‘My child, I blessed him for a reason and that reason to be found out on their own.’
“So you’re telling me that you chose him to mate with my mother to have me? Why? Why I’m needed here or give life to me?” I asked as my heart began to ache as well but she didn’t say anything, instead she just smiled at me.
‘Just take out all of your walls, my child.’

I wanted to argue or to counter but as she said that, my heart began to feel all the pain that I’m trying to get rid off from long time ago. It’s exploding inside of me and it made me crying so hard as the dark surrounding also began to crack and letting some bright red and white lights to shine around the place.

‘Let the real Aleksys Mionette Cornelius out.’

As she mentioned my real name, my tears turned to blood as I felt something was ripping at the back on my skin and wanted to be out. I screamed out loud as my blood began to sputter like a fountain then formed into wings but instead of having feathers, it’s a bloody veins.
