II THE SCENTS: Lycoris Mate

Chapter 27

[Sorry,  i forgot to post last weekends. So, here's the two chapters upadtr for u guys]

As my mate Leslie said that to me, no words were immediately said to her. She looked at me with such hurt but still smile anyway.

"No pressure, I can wait since I have to finish my school and train as an Alpha..." Leslie said to me yet I can sensed sadness along with her tone.

I don't know where did I find the will to smile to her reaction that made cupped her face so I could kiss her.

"No words can compare on how much I want to." I said what came out through my mind that made her smiled with such joy.

"I love you, Jade." Leslie honestly told me before kissing my lips.

"And I love you too, Leslie." I responded then we cuddled.

"Les, I heard the Alpha training will be held to the palace..." I recalled.

"Yes and don't worry you have all of me." Leslie teased that made me playfully slapped her shoulder.

"Oh and if you do flirt or fool around to anyone, I will kill them as well you." I countered that made her chuckled.

"Oh loves, just kill me slowly." Leslie teased as she pulled me closer to her chest.

"Whatever." I sighed as I let myself sleep in her embrace.

Since that last conversation with her that night, Leslie was indeed began to be busy because of school stuff. She's graduating along with her gang yet, no words will be heard from her. We might have seen each other but never talk.

"Seriously, you two need to get laid." Avery commented as she passed behind my back.

"What do you mean?" I asked lime I didn't know what she's telling me.

"Well, even though you two were not talking but the way you look at each other... Seriously, you two wanted to rip each others clothes off." Avery answered.

"Is that obvious?" I asked like I admitted that I do think of it.

Avery shook her head and left me thinking then a beta approached as he hand me an envelope. I thank the guy and leave me with it. As I went to the garden porch, I looked at the seal and it was not what I've been expecting to recieved while I'm still in this pack.

"Who sent it?" Shaunree asked as she noticed I'm holding something. Well, I'm glaring at it.

"Red case. By the way, how school?" I respond but asked at the end since I have to change the subject.

"Well, we're getting by and thanks to you some professors were praising on how we behave. But Leslie was a bit on daze on cafeteria." Shaunree replied to me while trying to relax on the couch at the garden.

"Does she tell you what happen?" I asked curiously but never let it shown into my tone - I think.

"Not a clue but if you two have a fight or something please don't let it affect the pack." Shaunree looked at me for a while when she said that.

"I know. See you around, I have to read this one." I said with a half smile before walking back to the house pack.

Inside at Leslie's room, I opened the letter and it seriously making my head shakes in disbelief as I read the content of it.

Dear Jade,

I wish you received this letter and reading it with such disbelief in your sigh. Well, I just guess it.

Anyway, I like to tell you on how much I miss you. We might greet each other with some longing looks or just a smile but its still missing something. You. I might be sounding like a cheesey or love struck graduating senior but it doesn't change the fact that I am in love with you. I'm loving you each day and night as I hope we could be one yet, I know you wouldn't like it. I know we sleep in one bed but never gone further from kissing since I know that you don't like it to happen out of heat and pleasure. Oh, just thinking of it reminds me of what we did on the basement. I know, I'm sorry for letting my heat get the best out of me. I should have control it but I never regret doing it with you. So, this time I will make it right.

You're my fiance, my soon to be my bride then my wife and the mother of our children then later will be the Luna of our own pack. I will always respect you as being you and grow together with you as one. Jade, you have a piece of my heart. I love you.

As I finished reading it makes my heart fluttered and warm to the point of making me smile until I recalled that she's going to train.

"It will be a long journey for us." I whispered as I walked toward the window and watch everyone busy over something that I don't want to know what they were up to.

After few days Leslie and her gang graduated with flying colors. Everyone celebrates along with the revelation that Leslie and I were engaged. The whole pack were overjoyed yet after the party Leslie need to leave for her Alpha training at the palace.

"Jade, take care. I'll be home soon then let's get marry." Leslie firmly told me that made smile but I just smacked the back of her head before nodding.

"I'll be waiting then." that's the only thing I replied then she gave me longing kiss before she left the pack.

When she was out of sight, I felt something was about to happen - aside from me getting married to her but something more.

"I hope it's for the goodness of the pack and Leslie..." I whispered to myself as I walked back to the pack house since I have to help Verona in the kitchen.
