As we walked in the woods, I noticed that she went on her silent mode and even stopped from walk behind me. I turned since I felt her presence fading from my back.

"Is there something you want to tell me?" I asked her directly that made her jolted a bit then relaxed.

"Nothing, it just that you finally admitted that I'm your mate." Leslie said as she walked closer to me.

"I don't remember rejecting you as my mate. I just don't like your scent always making me sneeze out of the blue, that's all." I honestly told her as we continued our walk.

"I see, sorry then." Leslie apologized so genuinely that made me turned and looked at her again.

I never heard that tone from her before then suddenly I heard some whispering voice in my thoughts.

'Come and find me.'

It might be my imagination but those words came from a very deep voice of a man and for some reason I smiled. I don't get it but my feet began to move closer to where Leslie was and gave her a hug that I never did since I've lost everything in my childhood days. She's the very first person I hugged just now.

"I found you." I whispered as the echoing voice vanished from my thoughts as my arms still wrapped around Leslie.

"You did." Leslie responded like she knew what I'm talking about but there's also something behind her tone that I can't figure out what until I sneezed again.

"Argh! I really hate your scent!" I suddenly pushed her and punched her shoulder.

"Hey, that's hurt and it's not my fault you smelled it like that." Leslie argued back as she kept blocking my punches.

"Would you stop releasing that kind of irritating scent? Argh! It's too much!" I told her as I sneezed again and it's non-stop. It's like my nose having some kind of allergic reaction to hers.

"Fine. I'll distance myself. But we need to figure out why my scent irritates you that much." Leslie said that made looked in surprise to her suggestion.

"I'll ask my savior about it and how to lessen it. You better do the same." I agreed to her as we kept walking again to my house.

As we're getting near, my body began shifted back into fragile form of a human body as well my skin tone went back on being fair pale skin. When I shifted back into my human side while walking closer to my backyard, I can tell that Leslie was so proud to what I can do.

"Thanks for walking with me." I told Leslie that made her smiled with such care then nodded.

"Anytime." She responded shyly that made me arched my left eyebrow. I noticed that she wanted something that I couldn't read at all.

"Say it, I won't bite." I joked as she slightly chuckled. I wanted to punch myself from saying that.

As I said that, Leslie looked intently at me like she's looking at what lies behind my eyes and I can feel her needs and wants. Just feeling that, it really sent a shiver down my spine and making me feel cornered, weak but so secured and safe all at the same time. The next thing I knew, her scent rapture around me and her lips touched mine.

With just a simple touch on mine, everything in me began to heat up and my senses suddenly became high. Just losing in that sensation, I began to taste her sweet and intoxicating blood onto my own lips. As I tasted it, I snapped from losing control and pushed her. I know I shouldn't pushed her that hard like I'm rejecting her but I must control myself since I don't want to be senseless monster again.

"Sorry, I bit you." I immediately apologized that made her snapped from being in hurt to my sudden push.

"It's okay -" Leslie said but I cut her off as my rage get the best out of me.

"IT'S NOT OKAY LES!" I shouted as I turned around since I'm losing my patience.

"If I say its okay then it's okay, Jade. Look at me." Leslie tried to reason to me but I don't dare to listen.

She reached my wrist and pulled me closer as it made me turned to face her. I don't want to look at her eyes since she's making me feel something that I don't know if I should be fearing.

"Jade, I'm not hurt. In fact, it's making me want more. Not because your a vampire or your being my mate. Well it's a bit of that, but I like you. I really do. So don't be afraid of losing control around me. I would love to see every bit of yourself. Whether it's good or bad or even great or your worse. I am here. Always. All you have to do is to talk about all of them to me. Make me understand every piece of it." Leslie said with such care in her tone and I can definitely feel that she really mean them.

"I'm a senseless vampire whenever I lose my control. It's like my defense mechanism." I said weakly but honest. It's like I can't lie to her big time.

"Well, I'm all ears when you're ready to speak them up. But Jade, if its start to bother me, I will ask you non-stop, so be aware of that." Leslie chuckled as she gave a little warning as well.

"Fine. whatever." I sighed in defeat but there's a smile formed onto my lips.

"Get inside." Leslie said that made me turn my back and walk toward my back door.

"See you tomorrow, Jade." She continued that made me glance back at her.

"Good night, Les." I said before letting myself inside my house then I felt Leslie run off back into the woods.

When she's out of the perimeter of my house, I sighed and touched my lips.

"She's definitely the death of me." I sighed before stretching my stiff body from that incident.
