Chara

Chara was relieved once the awkward conversation with Sans was over. She couldn't believe that she could be so dirty! Sans was the most innocent being she knew. She couldn't believe she talked to him about such an intimate subject!

Well he is my boyfriend. Chara thought. It's only natural for me to want to explore that part of life.

But that raises a familiar question in her head: Did monsters do that as well? Sans was probably too innocent to know. If anything Papyrus would know. But Chara certainly didn't want to talk to him about that! She really wasn't sure she wanted to talk to anyone about sexual desire!

But I need to talk to Papyrus about something else! Chara reminded herself. She was currently sitting and eating the last of her tacos in silence while Sans got ready to go out on a sentry patrol. Chara realized that she'd have the best chance of talking to Papyrus when her boyfriend was out.

"Hey Sans?" Chara asked. "Mind if I stay home from patrol?"

Sans, who was tightening his blue scarf, frowned. "Why? Are you not feeling well?"

"No, it's not that!" Chara said quickly, not wanting to worry the skeleton. "I have to talk to Papyrus about something."

Sans looked suspicious. "I hope you're not staying home because you're catching his lazy habits!"

Chara shook her head with a laugh. "Of course not! If it wasn't important I'd join you on patrol!"

Sans nodded. "Okay then! See you later!" Done getting ready, he stood up and left the room.

Sans

Patrolling by himself was something Sans hadn't been planning that day. He had been looking forward to an awesome romantic patrol with Chara. Regardless, he was going to make the best of it. He walked around, checking his puzzles and traps to see if he caught anything. He didn't. He wondered what would happen if he found another human. Would he capture the next one? Probably not. He didn't know what would happen if he caught one and send them away...

As Sans was examining one of his puzzles, he heard a giggle coming from behind. He turned to see a scaly creature that had long ivory fangs and sharp white claws, standing on two legs. It was pale green with yellow eyes and had a whip-like tail with pretty pink bows wrapped around it. It also was wearing a pink dress. It was clearly a female.

"Hello." Sans said to the fellow monster. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around before."

The scaly creature giggled and took a step closer to him. "You could say that." She said in a smooth high pitched tone. She flicked her forked tongue in and out between a set of pointy teeth. She held out one of her scaly claw-tipped hands. "I'm Liz!" She announced.

The name sounded familiar to Sans but he had no clue why. "My name is Sans! I'm the Magnificent Sans!" He told her with a smile.

Chara

After Sans left Chara went and knocked on Papyrus's bedroom door. She knew for a fact he was still asleep, as Sans and her always woke up quite early, while Papyrus slept in for hours.

"Mph. Who is it?" Papyrus asked drowsily from inside his room.

"It's Chara." She replied. "May I come in?"

"Sure thing." Papyrus replied.

Chara opened the door quietly and walked into the room. It was pitch black, darker than Sans's room was in the morning, as he usually opened the curtains. She couldn't tell where anything was, though she recoiled when she stepped on something that crunched under her foot. She knew how messy the room was. She felt around the wall and flipped on the light switch to see that Papyrus was lying in bed, still wearing his orange sweater from the day before.

"Sup?" Papyrus asked. "What do ya need? Advice for dating my brother?"

Chara held back a laugh. That wasn't quite what she wanted and she found it funny that's what she thought. "No. Actually...I wanted to talk to you about the note you found. And...a dream."

"Huh. A dream?" Papyrus asked, sitting up. "What dream?"

Chara explained the dream she had shared with Papyrus. He had a startled look on his face. Then she asked if he knew about the note and he shrugged.

"That handwriting seemed familiar to me, but I'm not sure I know who wrote the note." Papyrus admitted. "As for the dream. Well. If you shared it with Sans I guess it could mean something." He looked seriously at Chara. "Want my advice? Stay near my brother and I. And don't talk to strangers."

Sans

"Nice to meet you!" Liz said to Sans happily. "You seem familiar. I think I know you're brother."

Sans was surprised. "You know Papyrus?"

Liz looked nostalgic. "Ah, yes. He and I were friends as kids. He used to come visit me every day."

Sans didn't recall his brother ever meeting with anyone but he nodded. His brother could be a closed book sometimes. "What are you doing here? How did you meet my brother?" Sans asked.

Liz looked a little shy. "Oh. He...kind of saved my sanity. I used to live in Flowey Village with all those crazy Floweys. One day I wandered off and met Papyrus by whim. We became friends."

"Papyrus hasn't ever talked about you." Sans told her.

Liz sighed. "I kind of figured as much...I...I did just kind of abandon him." She looked at her claws. "I hated it...but... I had to. I found a place to live further away with better opportunities." She looked down at Sans again. She was as tall as Papyrus. "But I'm back now! I'd love to see my old friend again."

Sans nodded, bouncing cheerful on his feet. "Oh yes! I'll take you to meet him right away! I'm sure he'll be so happy to see you!"
