Chara
Chara and Sans cuddled together in Sans's race car bed. The thoughts running through Chara's mind made her feel guilty. She looked over at Sans with mixed feelings of love and lust running through her head. She almost started drooling.

What is wrong with me? Chara wondered, her heart pounding. Why do I always think dirty thoughts? Sans is so innocent!

Sans gave Chara a curious look. "You have a funny look on your face." He said, obviously noticing her expression.

Chara found herself looking away from Sans with a furious blush on his face. Luckily the lights in his room were off, although he had still noticed her expression because the blinds of the window were open.

"It's...hard to explain." Chara said, feeling extremely awkward. "It's...uh...erm...a human thing."

"Ooh! Cool! Tell me the best you can because I love learning about human things!" Sans gasped. He gushed. "Oh humans are so cool..."

Chara sighed, knowing she'd have to tell him now or else he wouldn't let the subject drop.

"Remember when I told you that humans like to get more intimate? That there's more to physical affection than kissing?" Chara asked. As Sans nodded, she continued. "Well...humans like to get really intense. When we kissing we sometimes stick our tongue in our partner's mouth. Or...we..." She shuddered. Trying to properly explain sexual attraction was awful.

Sans blinked. "Monsters have something similar to that." He said, to Chara's surprise. "Wanna heat it?"

Sans

When Chara nodded, Sans felt heat rising through his cheekbones.

"Y-you see, monsters will expose our soul for the other to...play with...I guess." Sans let out a nervous laugh. "The partner will lick it or do whatever feels right. I...I don't know the rest of the details." He looked up at the ceiling, feeling quite odd. "I-I thought that was so strange! But thinking about it now...I-I can see why monsters would like to expose their soul to the one they love."

Chara rested her head against Sans. "That's how I feel about intimacy, now that I know you." She told him quietly.

Sans felt hot. He didn't know what to say or how to act. "I-I am really glad you're with me, Chara!" He blurted. "Maybe one day we can get more intimate. I-if you want." He added shyly.

"Of course." Chara replied softly. "I'll wait until you feel ready. I'm ready whenever you are."

Sans smiled, hugging Chara tight against his skeletal body. "You're the best!" He loudly whispered into her ears. He couldn't imagine living without Chara.

"You are too." Chara sighed.

The two of them fell asleep sharing Sans's bed.

Sans woke up to Chara lying beside him, snoring softly in her sleep. He wanted to stay there and watch the rise and fall of her chest, but he had something else to do. He wanted to talk to Papyrus. So he gently pressed his teeth to Chara's forehead in a kiss, feeling his love for her pound in his soul. Then he silently walked out of his room.

Chara

Chara was standing alone in a field of flowers. She wasn't underground anymore. She was where she came from: above, where the humans dwelled.

How did I get here? Chara wondered, confused. I live with the monsters now, don't I?

She suddenly heard a cry of terror and looked around wildly. Then she spotted a dead human on the ground many meters away. Gasping, she ran over to the person and saw that there was blood welling from their throat. She let out a terrified scream but then something- or something- wrapped something around her mouth, forcing her not to make noise. She couldn't tell if the thing keeping her mouth shut was a limb. Whatever it was started pulling her down and started forcing her through the grass!

"Smmhp imhp!" Chara's muffled voice cried. The strange force ignored her and she found herself somehow in a strange cell. There was a chair with wrist binders, which the creature shoved her into. It clamped the binders shut, keeping her stuck in the chair.

"You can't get out!" A horrible disembodied voice said with a laugh. "Stupid human! You really thought you could actually live underground, huh? Well you're dead wrong." The voice laughed. "Literally. Because I'm going to kill you!"

Chara woke up with a scream. A moment later Sans burst into her room with Papyrus right behind.

Sans

Sans walked into his brother's room and flipped the switch on. "We need to talk, Pappy." He said sternly. He was greeted with snoring. Letting out a sigh, he saw that his brother was fast asleep on his bed, lying on top of the blanket. He walked over to Papyrus and shook him. "Wake up lazybones!" He snapped.

Papyrus woke up with a startled snorting noise. Then he looked at Sans with a frown. "I was having a good dream." He complained.

"While now you're going to get a good scolding." Sans retorted.

Papyrus say up. "What's up?" He mumbled.

"You're so lazy!" Sans blurted. "Too lazy to even spend time with a friend who came all the way back for you. Poor Liz! It's not fair that you're too lazy to talk to her."

"That's not-" Papyrus objected, but Sans continued.

"All you ever to is sleep and wander around. You'll never get anything done if you live like that!" Sans said, exasperated. "If I-"

He was interrupted by a scream coming from the next room.

"Oh no! It's Chara!" Sans gasped. He darted out of Papyrus's room in an instant and ran into his own room. Chara was sitting up in his bed, breathing heavily and clutching her chest. He ran over to her, hearing Papyrus shuffling into his room behind him. Sans sat beside Chara, looking at her worriedly.

"Chara! What's wrong? Are you hurt?" Sans asked anxiously.

"I-I just had a bad dream." Chara whimpered. "I'm glad you're here now."
