Kopa POV Well it has been a few months since Vitani and I admitted our feelings. My sister has been born her name is Kiara. Today was her presentation. Vitani also had a new sibling his name is Kovu. Vitani and were early to the ceremony. Dad went off to find her mother Zira. "Wow Kopa your little sister is cute". "Thanks Vitani I will show her lots of things to her when she is old enough". Nala laughed as Kiara bobbed around with joy. "Kopa you have the makings of being a good brother". "Thanks mom I think you have the making of being a good older sister Vitani". "What" asked Nala "Oh right my mother had a baby awhile ago his name is Kovu". She didn't respond. Vitani and I went outside. Her and I wanted to spend some alone time together as a couple before the ceremony so we went into the lion guard cave. "You know this cave can be our den one day Vitani". "Yeah maybe not it is quite dark in here" she said as she leaned close to me. "Well your the boss Tani". She laughed. I nuzzled her and she did the same.
Zira POV My plan is working perfectly, Vitani and that cub of Simba have fallen in love. I know now where they go. They go in that lion guard lair. Our plans to kill Kopa natural have failed so we will kill him out right. I left Kovu with Nuka and headed to the lair. Vitani and Kopa were nuzzling when I walked in. I coughed. "Oh uh mother what are you doing here". "Well I see that you two have gotten close and I wanted to talk to Kopa alone". "Okay mom". I pulled her aside. "Go get your brothers and head to the outlands". "Why mo..." "Just do as your told Vitani". She ran out. "Is everything okay Zira" "Kopa have you ever heard of Scar". "Yeah he ruled before my dad". "Yes and he was the true king of the pridelands". "I will be too one day". "Actually you are Simba's son so you won't". "Yeah and he is the current king, I will succeed him". "No you won't" I lunged forward onto the cub.
Simba POV I didn't find Zira in her den, maybe she came after all. Her meeting in the outlands have bothered me so much. I don't know what she is planning but nothing will make me step down. I passed the lair and heard noises. I went in. Inside was Zira with Kopa bloody hanging from her mouth. She tossed him aside. "You are the king Simba and now you don't have an heir to take the throne". "Actually I have Kiara my daughter". "Ah blast you" she lunged past me. I went to Kopa. Kopa lay lifeless on the ground. I poked his body but there was no movement. "Kopa...Kopa can you..." Silence. I collapsed onto him. "Kopa".
Zira POV I went out and gathered the lioness. "Zira we have to take out Kiara" "Not today Kopa is dead let's retreat to the outlands, it's our new home." We all ran out. Simba appeared behind. "You all are banished if you ever return you will be killed" he yelled. When we reached the outlands Vitani and Nuka were waiting. "Mom what happened" said Vitani. "The pridelands have betrayed us". "Why". "They hate the idea that we think that Simba isn't the true king, Scar is". "But he is dead" "I know but that is where Kovu comes in he will be king". "What about me mom" said Nuka. "You lack the capacity". "Mom where is Kopa is he alright" said Vitani. "He got on the middle of the fight and fell down a hole. Kopa is dead".

Vitani ran away. "Vitani" called Nuka. "Let her be son she needs some time alone".
Vitani POV I ran with tears in my eyes to the pridelands. I wanted to see for myself if he was dead. Animals gathered at the base of pride rock. Through an opening I saw him, he was dead. I cried harder now that he was truly dead. I wanted to be alone.
Simba POV We took Kopa's body to a far away cliff. We lay his body there. Everyone left except Nala and I. "I let him get to close to them and now we suffer for it" I said. "I can't believe he is...he is" Nala cried again. I pulled her close to me. Soon we walked back to the pridelands.
Narrator POV Kopa lay under a tree unable to move or open his eye. Near by a group of serval were passing by. They saw him. They checked for a pulse and found one. "He is still alive" said one. "Come on we have a long way to go to him to the tree of life we better not waste time" said another. They began to lift him on their shoulders and take him away.
