Vitani POV
More and more animals ran out of the tree valley but none were Kopa.
Rani, Rein, Snow, Nirmala, and Baliyo were near me.
"Any one seen Kion or the others" said Rani.
"How about Kopa".
"No sign of them" said Baliyo.
The fire rose and rose, more and more wolves entered the tree.
"We are going to have to abandon the tree of life" said Nirmala.
"But" said Rani.
"No buts if we stay we die".
"What about Kopa and the others" I said.
"We have to go" said Nirmala.
She lifted Surak and walked away.
Rein and Snow walked past me.
"Don't worry Vitani I am sure he is fine". Kopa where ever you are I hope you are fine.

Kopa POV
Day 1
I woke slowly surrounded by lions.
"Look whose finally awake" said Scar.
"What do you want".
"Well you are in possession of the rage and that is pretty powerful, so we will make you fight for us".
Uh oh I thought.
"But that's not our main focus. We are going to use you to get Simba to step down".
"Yeah directly killing him didn't work so well before" said Zira
"So we will use you" Scar said. They laughed evily as they neared oser to me.

Day 4
I have been trapped in this cave by Scar and Zira. They have beaten me senseless and have starved/dehydrated me. They even started a fire and burned my mane off. I have never felt so much pain in my life. I managed to stop some of the bleeding on my body. I could. Barely move. I heard Scar talking to some wolves outside.
"Sir".
"It is time, grab him. At the this we can get to the prides by sun high".
Two wolves came in and lifted me on their shoulders. As they dragged me out I sae Kion, Bunga, Beshte, Fuli, Ono, Anga, Makini, Omega, and Beta all trapped under rocks that sat a top them. I whispered to myself Karus please if you are listening do something we really need help here. I blacked out again.

Vitani POV
It's been four days since we returned to the pridelands and there is still no sign of Kopa. I have been restless.
"Vitani settle down" said Shahaba.
"Yeah you need to relax" said Kasi.
"How can I Kopa isn't back and neither are the others".
"It'll be okay Vitani" said Imara.
"Yeah they will be back soon" said Tazama.
"I hope you are right".
"Vitani up we are having a meeting" said Kovu.
"Come on let's go" I said.
We all went up to priderock. Simba was calling a meeting.
"Alright so we need to figure out who are stragglers are" he said.
"Welll Ono, Anya, Beshte, Bunga, Fuli, Kion..." started Rani.
"Kopa" I said.
Simba looked away. Two of his kids were missing without a trace.
"Any others" said Nala.
"Well I never heard back from some of the subjects after we left like the penguins, bears, or lemurs" said Rani.
"Practically half a kingdom is missing" said Surak who lay down not to far way, still injured from before.
"Vitani is what you say is true. Is Scar alive" said Simba.
"Yes he is aiding the wolves" I said.
Simba sighed. Nala nuzzled him.
Suddenly in the distance wolves could be seen heading this way. Scar and Zira stood in front of them. We stood preparing for what might happen.
"Simba still ruling the pridelands, I figured you would have passed it down by now".
"What do you want Scar".
"The pridelands is what I want".
I locked eyes with Zira. I looked into her lifeless ghostly eyes.
"Never Scar, you will have to kill me but that's not going to happen".
"No no we've tried that before but somehow you avoid it every time, so we are going to do something else".
"Like what".
"Force you to step down".
"I will never do that".
"Oh really...Gamma"
A couple wolves walked forward they were carrying something. They sat down what they were carrying in front of us. It was a badly injured lion. He many cuts all around his bloody body. Scars mixed with blood on his face, and his mane has been reduced to be barely nothing but a tuft on top and a few parts on each side of his neck. I got a closer look at who it was.
"Kopa" I cried.
"Son" cried Simba and Nala.

Kopa POV
I opened my eyes to being slammed down. My hearing slowly returned.
"Step down or your son will face even more punishment than he already has"
Simba was shocked he didn't know what to do.
"He...won't kill me...he want's me to turn to... his side but that's not happening" I said.
Scar growled.
"I can do this with or without your rage" he pushed my head into the dirt with his paw "Step down now".
"Don't... he wil... he will kill...me either way".
"Silence fool" he did one final hard push on my head. My head slammed into the dirt, making my vision hazy and my ears to ring. I looked up and past Scar and my family. In the near distance there was multiple dark mounds lying on/in the hill, river, tree, and rocks. They blended with their surroundings. Eyes appear on one of the mounds. It lifted its head very slightly. It was Inara. Thank you Karus.
I knew what she was doing, she wants me to give her the all clear to attack. That was usually done with The Mobiya Signal. I faced forward again.
"Scar let Kopa go" said Simba.
"Never now say your last words Kopa".
"Okay...I have something...to say then...Scar..." I began to whistle the song of thd bird that is exclusive to the mobiya oasis".
"A whistle wow I figured your last phrase would be..."
"Goodbye Scar" I whispered to him.
Inara and her reinforcements jumped out and began attacking the wolves. Scar and Zira realized their situation and ran away.
"This isn't over" yelled Scar
Simba, Nala, and the others ran off the wolves. Vitani ran to me.
"Good we got rid of those wolves" said Kovu.
"Yeah hopefully..."
"Kopa" said Vitani with a tear in her eyes.
"Son" said Simba.
Everyone ran over to me as I blacked out once again.
