The Past Catches Up

Kopa POV
My role in the gaurd was using my intelligence and teachings the others what I knew about combat that I learned from Surak.
"Okay so Kasi with your speed you are able to out run anyone correct".
"Yes I can out run any animals around".
"Okay so when you fight you want to overwhelm your opponent with attacks instead of just running at them but you want to be careful so you don't overload yourself".
"Got it".
"Okay Tazama you are the keenest of sight so you should observe your opponent more fine their weak spots also your increased sight is your most important trait in a fight always be prepared for people to strike at your eyes with their claws or even with dirt".
"Got it".
"Imara you are the strongest that means your attacks should be heavy not fast, try to over power your opponent and get then down".
"Got it".
"Shabaha you are the bravest so risky moves are your speacialty. Your fighting isn't that bad but be more aware of your surroundings before you throw yourself at an opponent".
"Got it".
"You should coordinate your attacks to like Kasi wear down opponents then when they are weak Imara you would come in a clear them. Things like that".
"Hold a second Kopa what about Vitani" said Tazama.
"Uhm".
"Yeah Kopa what about me" she teased.
"Okay well I guess you could..." I began to think. Vitani already knew alot about fighting probably even more than me. She smirked at me knowing that too. Then it hit me, there is one thing Vitani needs to learn. I smirked too.
"Okay Vitani you need to learn how to relax". Everyone seemed confused and Vitani was suprised.
"What" she said.
"Relax you are always on edge about things as if we could all die all the time. We are fine".
"But that's not fighting".
"I know but it is something you need to learn".
"Ugh fine Kopa, alright everyone start patrol I don't know how long my training is for".
"Okay we can start..." I began.

Alpha POV
We had stopped our search party for the night.
"Sir, Alpha Sir" said Omega.
"Omega what's wrong".
"Our allies in the pridelands have said that Kopa has returned home to the peides".
"Well we can't go after him there".
"So are we headed home now sir, it has been a really long time my mate is probably..."
"Yes...yes in fact we are going home, there we can gather the packs".
"Why would they help us".
"Before you were born son all the packs were one brought together by our Old Alpha. Even though we are separate now they still respect him and want Kopa dead".
"Okay but what's next".
"Then we need to flush him out of the pridelands and I have got the perfect idea. Omega gather some wolves go around and makes threats about attacking the tree of life".
"Are we attacking them sir".
"Not yet but it should be enough to draw him out"
"But what if he makes it".
"Then we attack the tree and take it over this time".

Kopa POV
Vitani and I sat on the edge of a breezy cliff. We both of us on our backs.
"I never knew clouds were so...puffy" said Vitani.
"Well you learn that when you've spent most of your life doing nothing".
She laughed.
"This has been nice Kopa but we should get back the guard"
"Okay but your next lesson is tomorrow ". She laughed.
"And so is yours".
Suddenly the guard came up to us.
"What's wrong you guys" said Vitani.
"There is a Zebra that has been attacked by some unkown creatures. They also seemed to get the point of attacking the tree of life in a few days, completely destroying them".
"Did you see the creatures" said Vitani.
"A little, they looked like hairier and larger dingoes with grey long fur and large teeth"
"Wolves" I said.
"You know what they are Kopa" asked Vitani.
"Yeah they are wolves they are probably the ones after me".
"Why would they go after the tree then" asked Imara.
"I don't know".
"If they ambush the tree then they will kill everyone, Kion and Rani aren't prepared for that" said Vitani "Where there any injuried".
"A few" said Imara.
"You guys go get the wounded to Rafiki. Come on Kopa let's tall to your parents".
We head to my mom and dad's den.
"Vitani, Kopa were just arranging..." said Simba.
"We got a problem" I said.
"What kind of problem".
"Well some old enemies of Kopa have caused quite the storm, they attacked a herd of zebra then made threats about attacking the tree of life. There is believed to quite alot of them". Said Vitani.
"If they take an army to the tree then Kion will be over run we have to warn him" said Nala.
"I will do it" I said "I have been there before and I find my way there pretty quick".
"You can't go alone son you could get lost like last time" said Simba.
"Not likely this time, last I was tricked, manipulated, and didn't have tracking skills but now I do" I used my tail to point at 4 feint stars in the sky shaped like diamonds "Those stars should help me get there".
"Be careful son".
"Don't worry he will because I am going with you" said Vitani.
"Vitani" I said.
"No Kopa the tree of life has changed since you have been there last, people you knew before maybe gone and Kion won't know who you are but he knows me".
"Who will lead the guard in your absence".
She thought for a moment
"Imara she is the better leader out of them".
"Right I will go tell you two should be getting as far ahead of those wolves as possible" said Simba.
"Right come Vitani".
"Becareful" said Nala.
"Don't worry Mom I will be".
Vitani and I began our journey.
We neared the edge of the pridelands and I looked back. I hated leaving again. Vitani nuzzled me
"Don't worry Kopa we will be back".
I smiled. We began walking towards the stars.
