" He....s..gone...he...s ...g.one...." I couldnt stop repeting it. He was gone.
She pulled me away and looked at me " Hey he may be gone but im not going anywhere im right here. Okay?' She took my face in bot o her hands and repeated it " Okay?" she asked
I looked at her. " Okay.." I replied "Okay" I said again this time more sure. He may be gone but she is here to take his place. It wont be the same but shes here. And right her in this moment i knew i would need her more than i could ever need anyone. My brother being gone took a chunk of my heart but she replaced some of it.
"Okay"
" Now i think you need some sleep. Its 3:55 or gods sake." she gave a dry laugh. then she helped me up and helped me to my room. I fell on my bed and looked at her. She went to the end of my bed and pulled both my shoes o. Then she pulled a blanket off the Dresser and put it over me. She leaned over me and whispered " Im Here" I Mumbled and then i was taken away by sleep.
