Part 18: a ring!

As I was walking home with Luke, I started to think of dad.. I'm not sure why, but he just popped into my mind..

I looked down at my stomach and a tear ran down my cheek.

Luke and I were holding hands, he looked over and saw me upset.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

I wiped away my tears and smile.

"It's okay, I'm fine."

He looked at me... I guess he knew something was upsetting me.

He pulled my arm and walked me to a bus stop, we sat down at the seats.

"Paige, what's wrong?"

"Dad.... he would of been ashamed of me.."

"What?"

"I'm seventeen and pregnant!"

Luke wrapped his arms around me.

He was being nice and started cracking some jokes.

I smiled and started to laugh.

He was playing around and put me on his back, he piggy-backed me all the way home.

As we walked through the door, Luke put me down on the couch and sat next to me.

I was really tired so I put my head on Luke's shoulder and slowly started to sleep.

Luke was running his fingers through my hair as i rested.

"You really love her don't you?" I heard Beau say.

I wasn't fully asleep so I heard their conversation..

"She's my everything..." Luke said.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around Luke's body.

He gave me a kiss on my forehead and put his arm around me.

"Dinners ready!" Gina yelled out.

I opened my eyes and Luke looked down at me.

"Babe do you want some dinner?"

I smiled and nodded my head, I got up and sat next to Luke at the dinner table, Gina served us Tuna Salad... Yum!

I ate my dinner and waited for Luke to finish.

Afterwards we went to the bedroom and watched a movie and soon fell asleep...

I woke up and saw Luke wasn't with me..

I looked at the clock and saw it was 8:30am, I yawned and got up to see what Luke was doing..

I saw him in the kitchen making some breakfast.

He looked over and saw me and instantly smiled!

"Hey babe! Want some breakfast?"

He walked over to me and rubbed my tummy, I looked up and he leant in and we kissed...

He smiled and walked over to the stove. He came back with a plate of pancakes. I sat down at the table and ate my delicious breakfast. I went to stand up..

"Wait, I have another surprise!"

"Another?!"

I sat back down and he brought me a cupcake,

"Dessert!" He said smiling.

"Thank you," I said giving him a hug.

He sat down next to me as I started to eat the cupcake..

First bite...... Ow! I bit something hard. I felt inside my mouth and pulled out a ring! Not only a ring, but an engagement ring!! It was beautiful!

"Luke??!!" I said giving him a massive hug..

"I wanted to do things traditionally,"

I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Look inside the ring."

I looked on the inside of the ring and saw he got it engraved! It said "Your my everything"
