Eighteen: Where I Am From

I realized I missed Valentines Day in chapter 10 xD I had typed it as well. So it's in there now. Really nothing's different. It's a small change on the first page of chapter ten. Check it out ^_^

"You remember them?" I said to the Team, bring up images of Juanita and Henry.

"Well, they will be helping us on our mission to save Miss Blight."

"Why are we helping this girl anyway?" La'gann complained.

Before I could bite back, Garr repeated what I told him yesterday. I smiled in thanks.

"In the Witch World," I began, opening up some files, "there is a structure called the Temple of Extraction. Using the temple, Juanita, Henry and I can take all of the energy Klarion the Witch Boy put into Raven. However, this procedure will require the temple to be on our physical plain. We can not risk taking Raven into a magic dimension."

"So...we get to visit your home?" M'gann asked excitedly. I found myself frowning.

"It's not my home M'gann. It's hers," I said seriously. She nodded and looked down.

"But we all get to go to a different dimension?" Daphne asked. 

"Yes. The temple will be guarded and I need time to analyze it for movement. You'll need to keep the guards busy. However, I will need a team to break into a different temple and retrieve a mystic gem that will also assist in the containing of her powers."

Everyone straightened up for team designation.

"Alright. Batgirl, Wonder Girl and Blue Beetle. You're Alpha with me. We need to get inside the temple. I'll need to study it which means I'll need cover. Nightwing, you'll run Beta. You, Viper Violet, Bumblebee and Lagoon Boy will cover the west side of the temple. Don't let in anymore soldiers than Alpha can handle. Superboy, you'll lead Delta. Miss Martian and Robin you are also Delta alongside Juanita Broadway. You will need to do the same as Beta, but on the East entrance, understand?"

The group nods.

"Laurel Destiny, you'll lead Gamma. You, Impulse, Swiftchick, Beast Boy and Henry Puller will follow my coordinates to the Azarak Temple and retrieve the Azarak stone. Rendezvous at our coordinates."

The group shuffled around. Batgirl, Wonder Girl and Blue came over to stand beside me. I then asked everyone to follow me to the hangar. When we got there, I began speaking again.

"I am going to base out existence in the Witch World off Orion. Miss Martian, I want the bio-ship to come too. I will open a portal that should be big enough, however this will weaken me considerably. Alpha, if we are attacked, I may be no help," I said seriously.

"Recognized; Juanita Broadway, A15, Henry Puller, A16."

Juanita and Henry entered. I smiled at both who greeted in kind.

We took the bio-ship to Happy Harbour Cliff. It landed and I sat cross-legged mid-air.
