"M-Maybe Carrol's house?" Misty suggested.

Nightwing shook his head, running a hand through his hair nervously. Quietly, he had taken Viper, Superboy, Miss Martian and Laurel Destiny to the side.

Hana had been missing for two hours already. Her phone was still in the med-lab and he could not track her.

Though the argument had seemed small, Dick was panicking. What he had said to her about releasing the alien tiger on the village was crossing the line.

Inside, he knew he feared the worst; that the comment he made would drive her to attempt to control her powers. He feared that she would return to Witch Boy.

"So you check the apartment?" M'gann asked.

"Twice, and I have motion sensors on our doors and windows. There's no movement."

"What about off planet?" Misty suggested.

"The Denominator's still in the hangar, plus there's been no disturbance in the zeta-shield."

"Well she has no reason to be in any of the other cities," Daphne wondered aloud. "I mean I doubt she'd go to Teresa in Texas or anything like that. She might have gone to see Wally in Palo Alto? Or Swiftchick in-"

"What about Star City?" Superboy suggested.

"No," Misty answered, "not since her nanny-"

"That's it!" Nightwing suddenly yelled. He turned to the hangar and walked away.

Whilst the girls left him to it, Superboy found himself walking into the hangar too.

"Nightwing," he called. Dick turned around. "I don't know what you did, or what you said, but you better make it up to her, or else..."

Conner turned around and began walking away. "She's been through enough," he called over his shoulder.

"I know you would know what to do," I whisper, sitting in front of her.

"We both know it. I over-reacted. I always do. How lame am I, huh?" I laugh at myself vainly, before returning to my original state

Rain sprinkles along the grass softly. The sky overhead is grey and depressing, almost as if it's reflecting my feelings. Thunder crackles in the distance.

"Why do I have to cry about everything?" I ask her. "Out there," my gaze drifts to the clouds that hide outer-space behind them. "Out there, I'm so much better. So much stronger. I'm so weak on this planet."

Off in the distance I hear a car pull up. I look across the cemetery to see the familiar green jaguar pulling up. I see Dick getting out of the car.

My head snaps back to Lana's grave.

I usually came here when I was said. I knew he'd find me.
