(Venator PoV)

I woke up in a hospital bed, with my chest plate off but the rest still on, I'm guessing they operated by the stitches and blood bag. I started moving, noticing how light my head felt. I quickly shrugged it off and took out the blood drip and put my chest plate back on. With it auto locking back in place.

I stood up and collected my M1911's which was on the bedside table. My DMR was no-where to be seen. That's when the Doors flew open, and I saw a doctor. "Y/n? your awake?" he questioned, "Yeah, why shouldn't I be?" I questioned. "You've been out for 2 weeks. And to be honest I didn't think you would have been up with how much blood your body lost." He responded. I nodded, "Not bad, only 2 weeks this time." I said, "This time?" he questioned.

"Whenever I got I shot under the white masks, they didn't care due to me being a slave to them. If I died I died they didn't care. So they never really used any medical equipment on me. I was out for months at a time and always got back up, sometimes I thought God wanted to punish me for making the wrong choice." I answered.

He nodded, "Well here you will get treated like a human. Your AI gave us some information on where you were shot so we could save you." He responded, "That sounds like Acerbus." I responded before trying to leave, "You haven't been cleared yet Y/n, sit back down and let me run a few tests." He said, I complied.

(After some boring medical tests.)

So I finally got to leave and decided to grab some food, still clutching where I got shot, my armour had a nice new hole in it. "Acerbus, run program file 04" I said and my armour vibrated a bit, then the Nanobots the tried to save me came back and resealed the hole in my armour. Getting it fixed and sorted. Job 1 complete, Job 2, get food. I moved over to the Cafeteria and grabbed my food, I didn't car if they saw my face anymore so I took my helmet off and started eating.

"Hey Y/n, I wanted to thank you for saving me." I heard Tina say before she sat down. "Your welcome, I would have done it for anyone. Like I said, I don't matter." I replied, "Was the mission successful at least?" I asked, "Yeah it was, the train was stopped and the cleared of white masks. Those strongholds are now missing a month's worth of supplies each. Which means there will be less ammo and food for them." She explained, I nodded, "Good." I responded, that's when I felt a presence.

"Hey, how's my second favourite Canadian?" I asked, he just stared into my soul. I knew what was coming so I prepared, "One second, let me take my chest plate off so you can punch the wound."

I took the chest plate off and he didn't wait, he punched my in the face then wound. "Yep, deserved that. Now like I said, How's my second favourite Canadian?" I asked again, putting the Chest plate back on.

"I'm quite angry, I've thought my commander was dead for almost 3 years. Now I know where you were, and I understand why you joined them, but why did you hide when you come here." He asked. I nodded.

(Time skip of repeating answers.)

"That's why Sebastien, and I am truly sorry." I said, he looked at me, then hugged me. "I didn't think id get this reaction. I was quite shocked and so was Tina. Then he let go and punched me square in my face. "That's the reaction I expected." I said rubbing my face. I then sat down next to me.

We sat there catching up for a bit. Till I was called to Six's office, I got up and walked on over. Once I arrived she signalled me to sit, which I did. "Do you know why I have called you here?" she asked, "No." I replied, "Well, there are some people here that think you don't provide anything to the team except being an Ex-White Mask." She answered, "Ok?" I sheepishly questioned, "So I'm sending you on a mission by yourself, get this done and your place is secured here at Hereford Base." she said.
