Is it just the question, that the answers will reveal,

always right there ready, to give you some reality.

Or is the answer waiting like a koan on the floor

Hidden levels clearing off what the mind is open for.

Do the illusions, fade away 

in the light of a brand new day

And if you look there deep enough

is there the truth staring in your face

that leads you to open up one more door

and when you get to where you seek

at some point one fine day

is it all then over

or do you return and point the way

Do you retreat, and go within

and hope that you can stay

a little there, a little here

and still not really in either place.

And what is so invisible

That you can dress it up and with a disguise

and worship the fine package

when it’s love that’s hiding there inside

does the Holy Ghost

leave some footprints in the sand

so you can find a way to follow

and reach that distant land

Could you build a bridge across Heaven

And back to what is here on earth

And come and go, back and forth

Until you choose the source

And then we bow to nothingness

And what it cannot see

Until you find that love was offered

Could lead to the answer and seal the deal

Was it just the Yes you wanted

So you could finally receive

The blessings of the Universe

And the light that was revealed
