It started with a laugh.
A villain laughs like a villain when shit is about to go down, shattered beyond repair.
When Yuugo broke the door, all that met him was the eerie silence.
A radio placed on the table, blasting the audible horror they previously heard. The volume of it sent small tremors from the device to the table. But the device went silent as if drowned by his intrusion.
Yuugo's eyes darted across the room, finding the pillow forth mushed unders Emma's weight, looks like the orange-haired girl passed out on her stomach.
Yuugo tried to take a step inside but a hand went flying to grab the sleeves of his clothes, successfully yanking the man as well as taking his breath away.
The man instinctively stuggled against the surprising force that holds him down. The man quickly reached for a knife tucked on the side of his boots but his hands and jaw were clamped shut, much to his disbelief.
Cinco, the boy looked dead but intimidating. He held Yuugo and furiously shooked his head as though whatever was supposed to happen, was something none of any human in vicinity would be able to face against.
Yuugo forced his arm to shove the boy's overpowering grasp. Bewildered, he glared at the boy, almost in the stance to charge at him.
"Let us not dive into rash actions."
Ayshe pointedly gazed at Yuugo that rivals a snarling dog, she sighed and moved through the crowd of people to close the door of Emma's room.
Ayshe turned her attention back to the confused mass behind her.
The girl stood firmly, debating silently on her head. She pointed an accusatory finger to Yuugo who crossed his brows together.
"You don't go into her room uninvited. No one is allowed to step inside uninvited." Ayshe said, tone low and stern.
"Unless you wanted an uncalled funeral, then you are more than welcome to do so."
The girl ushered for the crowd of people to follow her.
"The Emma you saw is not the Emma you knew, that should be obvious by now." The girl said between steps.
"What happened?" Gilda whispered but audible to certain audience.
"Hell happened." Barbara answered, eyes straight ahead to their destination.
"Can you be more specific?" Ray demanded through gritted teeth. He can feel the turmoil of unspoken anticipation boiling in the pit of his stomach.
"Have you heard of vivisection? The dissection of all your organs, then stapled horribly back in a way nothing of anything is the same and functioning well?" Barbara laughed loud yet mirthlessly.
"That damned cold hell."
**************
Emma was ready to throw away her life.
Some how, deep inside her heart. The thought of death seemed so relieving. It almost sounded like a dream, a selfish and disturbing dream. She couldn't admit, she wouldn't admit it but sometimes she wonders how the delivery of her death could've been different if she didn't know the gruesome truth.
The orange-haired girl took a step beyond the gate, Isabella carrying her laguage. It was most certainly empty, save for the plastic cups inside.
No demon was seen and it made Emma unnerved.
Isabella turned to her right and there was a door for a seemingly small room. Emma's eyebrows twitched, never had she seen that room being used before.
