There was a God,
an Angel and a Demon. The God was gracious, meticulous, kind, and humble. He had all the knowledge in the world, how it works and how it would be in the near future. He created everything from dust and gave it life.
The Demon was sly, untrusting, disobedient and mischievous. He knows how corrupted people are, how easily tempted they could be and how to manipulate them in his favor. He destroys everything in his path as well as the people's lives.
The two creatures were so powerful that whenever they collide chaos instantly ensues. The whole world trembles under their gazes.
There happened the greatest war upon the two.
The Angel came and built a bridge, she showed them a common ground so the two could talk and bring balance to the world. She was kind, sweet, strong-willed and pure. Even the vainest souls didn't dare to taint her, simply because nothing could ever bend her.
The God loved her so much he was willing to lay the whole world to her foot and offer it to her.
"Angel, here is the world that i will nurture and grow under your graciousness, i offer this to you as proof of my deep love for you." The God smiled the gently at her to which the Angel bowed and beamed, her smile far brighter and contagious.
"My Lord, i wish not of any world. The people's world is for them to dwell upon, i need nothing from it. Yet my Lord, hear me out. All i ask for is peace." The Angel smiled softly at him. His posture seemed to waver.
The Angel bought her hand to hold her heart and she exhaled.
"You gave me life and a reason to live my Lord. I am to serve under you and follow your will but i cannot accept your love, for you must give your love to all your creations fair and square."
And with that said the angel flew to the earth with her wings flapping gracefully in the air. Her orange hair illuminated the vivid brightness of the sun making it look like sunset on a soft morning.
Her beauty is surreal.
God braced himself, coming to understand himself and their predicament. She's right, they cannot love each other beyond platonic. Heavenly bodies don't get the pleasure of being selfish when they have a job to do.
The God's eyes lit up. Nothing will hinder his love for her, not even the rules of the universe.
Down on the ground, the Demon walks with his shadows. Every now and then it would whisper to his ear and he would put up to whatever it says. He saw the descend of the Angel, his purplish onyxs gaze stayed on her. Taking in all his devil eyes could.
"Purist Angel, in your gaze i am on my knees. Deemed this Devil is not worthy of your presence but hear me Angel. I am willing to dispel every evil in this world if you accept my love." the Demon had one knee on the ground as he kept his head hung low under the maiden's gaze.
The Angel frowned at the Demon. Her delicate fingers moved forth, she gestured him to move close, to step forward. The Demon obliged, unable to resist the look of concern on the Angel's face.
"Demon, Your love is pure as one could be. Yet i cannot accept it. I have responsiblity to take and shoulder, so do you. Don't look down on your existence, you are here for a reason and that is to bring balance to the chaos and good in this world." The Angel gazed appreciatively at the Demon and he melted under her.
"If not for you, the world will never know how to value. Worry not Demon, i will be here for all and you."
The Angel flew away again but instead of feeling left behind, the Demon looked pleased. The Angel was right, she gave him a reason, a purpose and the Demon never loved anything much more than he loved her.
The Demon decided, he'll be there by her side even if the whole world is against it.
________________
Peace and harmony went for millenniums and so on but it lives along with war and fights. Humans evolved and learned. They formed hierarchies, they kicked the weak and praised the strong. They discriminate those who couldn't keep up and forcefully made their ways for the top. Their sins got worse, darker, more wicked and malevolent. Because of this wars were constant, humans learned to enjoy the wars and peace. It made them strong and prove their worth.
God could only sigh and the Demon couldn't even bring himself to feel amused anymore.
The Angel brings enlightenment, God, Demon and humans altogether witnessed her holiness, her purity. Her being a real heaven of righteous and morality.
Now there's the Null. Souls who are not welcome in both heaven and hell. Souls who refuses to converge with evil nor good. Souls who serve for themselves alone. They weren't evil but neither were they good.
One fateful afternoon, the Null, souls converged into one enormous being of void, lurked in the forest of darkness. The Angel attempted to bring them back, to put them to their paths but they violently refused. Half of them souls wanted to listen, to give in to the Angel but the other half stayed persistent. It denied and defied, the Null convulsed and the omnipotence that had been bottled up by the souls who resided inside the Null exploded.
The Angel tried the fly away but she knew couldn't fly fast enough to get away. Her wings flailed, she forced it down and accepted the white beam of death through the unbound souls.
The Null disappeared and so did the Angel.
The world came into a stand still.
The God knew by the time her soul ascended into the higher realm, while the Demon heard it from the whispers of the shadows.
The world mourned, it rained for months non-stop, the shadows and devils went rampant. The chaos gone unacknowledged as the humans slowly lost faith.
Heavenly bodies and mortal alike, evil and good, went to live not being alive. Cheerfulness gone that even the spring could not bring it, unable to contain the joy all living needed.
___________
Millions of year have gone since and the existence of the Angel burried deep to past in their grief. No one dares to mention it, afraid of the wrath of both God and Demon. Even her myths did not reach the current generation.
Except for one.
The world once again came into a screeching halt. A girl whose eyes glimmered in viridian emeralds, hair short with intense shade of sunsets and undertones of sunrise was conceived in the womb of a mortal.
The Angel was reborn as a mortal.
A human.
She was named Emma.
And when she cried, out of her mother's womb. Everything living felt joy arise with or without their knowledge of the cause.
Once again, there was a God, an Angel and a Demon.
