||ADELEI COLEMAN
Adelei black red bottom heels clicked as she took confident steps into the warehouse. Someone was going to die today and she knew it would be by her hands. She wasn't the type to hide behind her men, she loved to get her hands dirty.
Someone had been stealing hundreds of thousands of her money. One thing she didn't like was a thief who was willing to bite the hand that feeds them. She came with only one intent and that was to kill who she knew was taking the money, which would explain the gun in her hand.
"Boss?" Darrius one of her workers asked.
"Where's Dane?" Adelei didn't waste any time on niceties, she knew what she was here for, and that wasn't to be cuddly with her workers.
"He's in the back, counting the money." Darius unknowingly helped towards Dane's demise.
"Tell everyone to meet me back there." Adelei continued her walk to the back of the warehouse.
As she walked through the glass double doors, she could see Dane counting the money. "Uhm," she cleared her throat.
"Yes boss," Dane smiled as he seen Adelei.
Danes smile made her blood boil, but she knew better than to show it. "Any last words?"
Dane opened his mouth to ask what she was talking about, but one shot ranged as she shot him in the head. He fell back, limp and unmoving, she watched as the blood spilled out the middle of his head.
She turned around like nothing happened, and seen the rest of her workers watching her with fear in their eyes.
"Okay!" Adelei said cheerily. "Dane was taking money from me, so I took his life from him. If anyone is thinking about stealing from me, I won't hesitate to cut your hands off and put it on ice as you wait for the paramedics to get you. And an extra precaution: don't bleed on my fucking floor!"
As on cue, the clean up crew came and began to clean up the body. "Have a nice day and don't hesitate to call me if something goes wrong 'cause trust I will know."
Adelei walked into her office only to see the back of green hair.
"No disguise today, Rayven?" Adelei asked as she took a seat at her desk.
Rayven smiled and shook her head no as she looked at Adelei. They used to go to school together before Adelei took her GED and left.
"Hey Adelei, I wanted to talk to you about something." Rayven tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears.
"Yeah, what's wrong?" Adelei leaned back in her chair. Even at the tender age of 17 Adelei had everything figured out and was moving the way she wanted.
"What made you get into the drug business?" Rayven's questioned all but shocked Adelei.
"I knew I would eventually join this type of profession so I just made it happen sooner than later. After both of my parents died, I decided to take my life in my own hands and live it the way I want to. I've always loved the thought of fast money, and I knew exactly how I would obtain it. So at 14 I worked my way up to where I am now, and I'm well respected for what I do. I take care of my people." Adelei shrugged, seemingly unbothered.
Rayven hesitated as she looked down at her hands. Rayven needed to make some extra money for her family, but she also wasn't sure if fast money was the way to get it. Rayven admired how much Adelei had accomplished within the last 3 years. Adelei was well respected, even with people twice her age working under her.
"Is there anyway you could help me get some extra money, even if it's just a small job." Adelei smirked at the thought of Rayven working for her.
"No," Adelei wasn't stupid enough to risk Rayven's future. "If you need money, come straight to me and I'll give it to you as long as you do one thing for me."
