||MAIYA JANUARY

"Mommy! I'm so excited." Iris whispered yelled from in her seat on the Airplane.

"I know mamas," Maiya said as she kissed Iris' forehead.

"Peanut, calm down." Kairo tried to calm down an anxious, crying India.

Maiya, Kairo, and the kids were well on they way to Florida to see Moira and Cyrus. Kairo and the kids hadn't met them face to face, but they called whenever they could. And from the looks of it, Cyrus and Chinx couldn't wait to meet them as well.

"Babe, give her that bottle of milk that's in her bag." Maiya had put a sippy cup full of whole milk into India's little bookbag just in case she started to cry.

Kairo had gotten the sippy cup and gave it to India who instantly quieted down and laid her head against Kairo's chest. "Thanks babe."

Maiya leaned over and gave him a small kiss before she watched a drowsy India drink from her sippy cup.

As expected India and Iris slept through the entire flight and was still sleeping by the time they were leaving the plane.

Iris was asleep in Kairo's arms as he pulled his suitcase with the kids duffle bag on top of it. Maiya pushed a sleeping India in her stroller while pulling her suitcase.

Kairo and Maiya had paid for a rental beforehand so they didn't have to waist any more time. As they exited the airport, their rental was waiting at the entrance for them.

"Get the girls in the car while I put the bags and India's stroller in the trunk." Kairo said as he leaned over and kissed Maiya's head.

"Yeah, they should be awake by the time we get to the building." Maiya took a sleeping Iris from Kairo as she opened the door to the car.

Kairo began putting the suitcases and duffle bags into the trunk while Maiya put India in her booster seat in the car and sat Iris next to her.

Once they were strapped in Maiya made a direct beeline for the passenger side, she did not want to drive. Especially not in this Miami heat.

Kairo closed the trunk and walked to the drive side. "Oh, so this is how your going to do me." Kairo got into the driver seat and started the car.

Maiya leaned over the middle console and kissed Kairo. He didn't hesitate as he kissed her back, his hand coming up to caress her cheek and the other to grip the back of her neck. The kiss was sweet yet nasty as Kairo sucked and bit softly on her bottom lip.

"Stop," Maiya blushed as she pulled away. "Nasty ass."

"Bye girl, don't act like you wasn't enjoying it." Kairo laughed as he pulled off to their first destination, Moira's Heart.

"Is Aunty Chinx and Uncle Cy going to meet us at the building?" Iris asked as we walked down the street. She was excited to finally meet the people who expressed so much love to her over the phone.

"Uncle Cy!" India yelled as she clapped her hands, she was obsessed with the way Cyrus talked.

"I swear y'all need to go back to sleep." Kairo said as we walked into the building. They both had so much energy now that they were well rested.

It was full of kids who just wanted to do something productive. All together the building was pretty big, it was sectioned into 4's. Each section for Acting, Dancing, Singing, or just talking. Each room had walls made of mirrors, it was decorative but it also helped them feel better about themselves. The hardwood on the floors were a bright honey color. The couch's were a nice beige satin color that just felt like silk. A personal favorite of Maiya's was the martini lamps that sat in each corner—Imani had suggested it when she talked to her.
