"When is dad and Ocean coming back?" River asked his mom while he laid his head on her chest.

Desire ran her fingers his hair as he whined, he definitely took after her when it came to their looks, but he had Donovan's personality.
"They only went to go see your Uncle and aunt, they'll be back soon." Desire kissed the top of his head as he hugged her tighter.
If someone would've told her that she would have married a man like Donovan and had his child too; she would've laughed in their face.
Desire heard her phone ring and picked up, Vina's name popped up.
"Aunty Vina's calling," Desire said as she answered the FaceTime call. "Hey baby!"
"Hey Dessi, is that my baby?" Vina asked as Desire turned the camera on River.
"Good morning, Vina." River mutter quietly, Desire could feel the black mother about to come out of her.
"Aye, pond you may be 10 but I'll steal come down there to whoop yo little ass." Vina was always arguing with River whenever they talked on the phone.
"Okay, I'm sorry Vivian." A small smile founds its way on Rivers face as he heard Vina scoff.
"Desire ima Kill this boy, but I love him too much." Vina came to visit often but she currently live with her boyfriend in Madrid.
"I love you too, Aunty Vina." River blew kisses into the camera.
"Girl this boy got a fever so he a little bipolar at the moment." Desire said as River laid his head back down on her chest.
"Aww my poor baby," Vina frowned. "Where's my first baby daddy?"
"Don't do my husband before I tell your boyfriend," Desire jokes with a smile. "But he's with Ocean at Kofi and Storm house; Donovan promised to take out their daughter Pheonyx for ice cream."
"Is either one of y'all kids showing signs of fae abilities?" That was the million dollar question that everyone wanted to know.
"River, is too young to show any signs of incubus powers but he's already showing signs of Mesmer abilities. Pheonyx on the other hand got a voice like her mother, but she's too young to show any Mesmer abilities."
"Wow, they are growing up so fast." Vina could feel herself becoming emotional. "Anyway, I have to go to work now. The job of a criminal prosecutor is never done."
"Bye love," with that Desire hung up. "You sleep pumpkin?"
"No, but don't let me go." River face was now buried into Desire's neck as he hugged her tightly. River was a very emotional and attached child when it came to his mother. Unlike a Ocean who was a daddy's girl, River was a mommas boy, and a proud one at that.
