||DONOVAN AZURE
A week had went by and everything was finally situated with Donovan. After the incident with Desire, he knew it was best to stop messing around and get his stuff together. He was finally at a happy place in his life where he has a daughter and 2 insane girlfriends.
"Papa!" Ocean came running down the steps as Donovan walked into his house.
"Hey bug," Donovan picked her up as she latched onto him. "What I tell you about running in the house?"
"That I could hurt myself and end up and the hospital...again." Ocean mumbled as she stuck her face in the crook of Donovan's neck. She hated disappointing her father.
"I don't mean to make you feel like you did something wrong, I just want you to be safe." Donovan rubbed Oceans back as he walked to his couch.
"Tell me my name again, papa." Ocean whispered as Donovan took a seat and sat her in his lap.
"Ocean Xodiac Azure," Donovan smiled at the sound of his last name next to Ocean's name.
Ocean smiled as she giggled into her fathers chest. Kofi walked into the living room from the kitchen.
"Damn, yo daddy come home and you forget all about uncle Kofi." Kofi spoke as he took a seat next to Donovan.
"Oooh, papa he said a bad word." Ocean snitched on Kofi, making him suck his teeth.
Ocean may have been 8 but she still was a little kid at heart. She didn't have a normal childhood growing up in foster care.
"I know bug, and he's in trouble." Kofi mugged Donovan. "How's Storm?" Donovan asked.
"She's good, she finally got her new line out in her store. Her new line is actually good, that's actually where I got this hoodie from." Donovan said as he spoke with pride.
Donovan looked at the hoodie Kofi was wearing and he couldn't deny, it was fire. It was a neon greens hoodie, black writing that said 'The Streets Don't Love You' on the front, and 'No Matter How Much You Love It' on the back
"It's so nice, uncle Kofi!" Ocean exclaimed as a yawn escaped her mouth.
"You tired boop?" Kofi asked.
Ocean nodded her head yes as she began to fall asleep on Donovan's chest. Kofi had fed, told Ocean to wash, and took out her pajamas out. He knew she would be tired by now, by the time Donovan got off of work at least.
"It's 8:30, ima put her to sleep." Donovan said as he stood up with a sleeping Ocean in his arms.
"Yeah, ima head out too, Storm want me to come over and put it down." Kofi smirked as he dapped his brother up.
"Begone nasty nigga," Donovan smirked as Kofi let himself out.
Donovan walked upstairs to Ocean's newly decorated room. Her walls were painted a soft lavender color with encouraging words in white writing. In the middle of her room was a queen sized bed with white sheets, silk baby blue pillow cases, and a baby blue duvet. Next to her bed was a black and white dresser with a closet on the other side. Toys of all kind were placed in her toy chest.
Donovan pulled the duvet down and laid Ocean down in the middle. He grabbed her black silk night cap and placed it on her head. Donovan tucked her in and kissed her forehead before he turned on her night light.

It was just turning 7 in the morning, and Donovan made his way into Ocean's room."Bug come on," Donovan smoothed her hair out her face. "Time to get up for school."
"I'm sick, papa." Ocean fake coughed as she turned around to look at Donovan.
