||KAIUS JHENÉ
Kaius blasted 'None Of Your Concern' through her moms house as she wiped her tear streaked face.
"Isn't this worth saving, I can feel you fading off." Kaius sung as she continued to cry.
Kaius moved her body around in a sad drunken movement. Her hair was pulled up in a small natural bun.
"Results of the post damages that I haven't dealt with." Kaius rapped with Big Sean as she felt his words. "Tryna make your mark, then go deeper and make it scar."
Today would be the third month anniversary of Kaius dad's death—December 20th. Her mother was coping in her own way by drowning herself in work, but Kaius refused to leave the house. It felt like she was drowning, drowning in her own tears and the words that left her mouth.
Kaius didn't want to eat or drink in fear that she would throw it all back up. Her feet dragged as she moved her arms in slow, wild movements as she replayed the same song. She felt like the song fitted the scenario. She wasn't crying because her dad died, but because she still cared for him after everything he's done.
James, Kaius dad, had died of a drug overdose. He overdose while having an affair with another woman other than her mom. As Kaius continued to think about it she no longer felt sad, she was more angry than ever.
Kaius had traveled into the bathroom, stripping out of her clothes wildly, and hit her toe on the edge of the shower.
"FUCK!!" She yelled at the shower, directing her anger at anything that stood in her way.
The shower didn't seem to care as she yelled, spilling water down on her from above. Kaius knuckles had manages to meet the white tile walls as she threw punch after punch. With each punch she screamed in pain. PAIN because her knuckles were blooded and still bleeding. PAIN because she couldn't seem to stop caring for the man who ruined her family. PAIN because she felt triggered whenever she heard his name or saw his face in her dreams.
"The audacity to question me, like you ain't leave me out here on my own!" Kaius yelled as she sank to her knees in the shower while cradling her bleeding knuckles.
Kofi bursted through Kaius bathroom door to see her naked body sitting on the floor of the shower, letting the small pellets of water drown her sorrows.
He had gotten worried about her when he didn't get his morning asshole text. Every morning Kaius and Kofi would send each other mean texts as a way to say good morning. He then went by the shop and didn't see her. He called Adelei to see if she was working and Adelei told him that she gave Kaius one day of every month off to "mourn" her father.
Adelei didn't go into too much detail about what happened this time of the month, but she said it was bad and Kofi was now witnessing it. Red streams of blood was following the water into the drain as Kaius cried out every tear she could.
Kofi turned off shower and grabbed Kaius robe. He wrapped the robe around Kaius' body and carried her bridal style out of the bathroom.
Kaius didn't ask what Kofi was doing at her house, instead she was grateful he was here. She clung to Kofi as he laid her head in his lap and stroked her hair.
"You look all cried, Phoenyx." Kofi called Kaius by her middle name as he ran his fingers through her soaked hair.
"I am, I really am." Kaius eyes stung as they took on a red puffy look.
Kaius was the youngest out of their whole group. She was 16 and dealing with things all on her own. After the death of her father, her mother couldn't bring herself to really look at Kaius for a long time. Kaius and her mother had a great relationship, but it was still rocky.
