distant and lies

*stella's pov*

"black or red?" I say holding up two dresses.

"um, you always look good in red stel. I would say go with the red one. They're both the same dresses, just different colors." Maya says looking at both of the dresses.

We came to the mall that's nearest to our apartment to try to find some cute outfits for the house party tomorrow night. Maya has already found the dress she's going to wear, so all that's left is me trying to find something.

"Do you think there's going to be cute guys at the party?" Maya asks me smiling.

"Maybe for you! But i'm still dating Isaac you know that maya" I say while i'm getting dressed again.

"Yeah yeah. Anyways, how are you guys? You haven't even spoken about him since we got to LA and I noticed y'all don't facetime everynight like you used to." Maya says looking at me with a concerned face.

I don't know if I should tell her...

I'm looking down at my feet and I say "I honestly don't know what's gotten into him he sounded perfectly fine before we left. Told me we were still going to talk everyday as if I still lived close to him. But he's just gotten so...distant. Like he barely texts me anymore, doesn't call...I just wonder if it was a mistake leaving." I finish saying and I never realized but I had a tear going down my cheek.

Maya comes to me and wraps me in a tight hug, "Hey hun it's okay, nothing is your fault. You're putting in the effort to talk to him and you're still trying to make him happy. If he doesn't realize that then he doesn't deserve someone as amazing as you." she says into my hair while hugging me.

she's right, i've been thinking about ending it and really having a "fresh start" here in LA but I don't know if I should stay or go.

"Okay well c'mon lets go pay for these dresses and go home!" Maya says smiling at me.

*Isaac's pov*

"Wow that was amazing" Victoria tells me, out of breath, covering her body with the sheets.

"yeah, you were good." I say, leaning over and kissing her.

I get out of bed and head towards my bathroom to shower.

"wanna join me beautiful?" I ask victoria and I see her happily get out of bed and run to the bathroom with me.

Victoria is an old friend of mine from high school, Stella and her were never friends. Victoria is going through a breakup right now and so I figured I'd help her feel...better. And that's what I did last night and for the whole past week with her. I'm pretty sure she's forgotten about her ex since she's been crashing here at my apartment. And honestly, i've forgotten about Stella since she's been here too. I was really hurt over stella leaving texas, but she chose to leave me and her family behind so that's on her. I had to do something that made me feel better, and well that was victoria.

"You coming baby?" victoria asks me grabbing my hand and pulling me into the bathroom with her.

Let's just hope Stel or Maya never find out about this.

hope you guys liked this chapter, I tried to spice things up this time. Wonder if maya or stella will find out about victoria and isaac? Or if stella will fall head over heels for ashton and forget about isaac ?
