*Stella's pov*

I'm awoken by Michael's laugh, I sit up from the couch and see that i'm alone. I can hear Ashton's voice in the kitchen but he's talking quietly. I can hear footsteps coming towards the living room from down the hall. I stand up from the couch and walk out of the living room and see it's sierra.

"oh hey you're awake!" she says, smiling and hugging me

"yeah I must've crashed out when ash and I got here, when did you guys get here?" I ask her, rubbing my eyes.

"about 10 minutes ago actually, we haven't been here too long. Everyone's in the kitchen right now" She says smiling at me, I follow her towards the kitchen and when I walk in everyone stops talking.

Weird?

"uh hey guys, what were you talking about?" I ask confused

"oh hey sweetheart you're awake" ashton says, smiling and placing a kiss on my forehead

"yeah I just got up, what's going on?" I ask again

I see Michael shoot a serious look towards Luke and Calum, a look that says to not say anything. I look over at Ashton and I see him giving the same look to the guys.

"okay or make this awkward and don't tell me that's cool too." I say clearly annoyed and I grab a water from the fridge.

I walk back to where I was standing before and further down the hall I see my other suitcase sitting there.

"uh guys why is my big suitcase here? I left it at the apartment?" I say confused, I turn back to face everyone and I see maya look towards the floor.

"Stella you can't go back to the apartment..." Is all maya says as she stares at the floor. I see Calum rubbing her back and looking towards Ashton.

"well you might as well tell her now ash." Michael says sighing.

I'm standing there confused, looking at everyone trying to read their facial expressions but I can't. They just look so upset? So distraught?

"Stella, you got a phone call earlier and you were asleep so I didn't wanna wake you. So I answered it, it was your neighbor. The one across from you, not the one on the left of you. And she had informed me that someone had broken into your apartment, they left the door wide open when they left." Ashton says, looking down.

"It was trashed. The whole apartment." Maya says, she sounds like she's on the verge of crying.

"I didn't want to leave you here at my house alone, so maya and calum went back to the apartment and called the police to file a report and make sure nobody was in the apartment before they went in. Police searched the entire apartment and nobody was there. Whoever it was completely trashed the apartment...there was broken dishes all on the floor of the kitchen, your clothes everywhere and maya's, the place was just trashed." Ashton says, shaking his head
