surprises and drinks.

*Ashton's pov*

We get to the house and we wait for Lauren and Harry to come home, both of them had gone over to a friends house but they were on their way home already. Still texted me earlier telling me she had almost missed her flight, and that she would call me when she landed in Dallas. She left earlier, so she should be landing pretty soon. I'm sitting on the couch in the living room and I can hear the front door open and them telling our mom hi. I stand up and they see me.

"ASHTON!!!" They both yell in unison, running up to me and hugging me. It feels so good to have them in my arms, it's been so long.

"hey guys!! i missed you" I say, hugging them both tighter.

"why are you home? you didn't tell us you were coming!" Lauren says as her and Harry pull away from me.

"well we're already done with our tour, and I missed you guys so I wanted to come home and surprise you. Mom knew about it though" I say smiling over at my mom who was already smiling at us.

"i'm so happy to have all my babies back together again" she says

"wow mom so you knew he was coming home and you didn't tell us?" harry says

"yup. I didn't want to say anything because I wanted to see how excited and happy you guys would get when you saw your brother." she says back

The rest of the day we just hung out and watched movies together and caught up with what was going on in our lives. Hearing my siblings talk about what's new in their lives made me feel like i've missed out on them growing up. Even though my mom keeps in contact with me and talks to me almost everyday, I still feel out of the loop with them. And it doesn't make up for my lost time with them.

I can feel a buzzing in my pocket and so I pull it out and I can see it's Stella calling me.

"hey guys give me a second, i'll be right back" I say excusing myself from the living room and I walk outside so it's more private and I answer the call.

*on the phone*

Ashton: hey! i'm guessing you just landed?

Stella: yeah! I just got out of the airport, i'm currently waiting for my mom to come pick me up actually

Ashton: your mom's picking you up from the airport? and hey why were you almost late to your flight?

I ask, letting out a little laugh.

Stella: well you see...I had to get snacks for my flight but I didn't want to get any inside the airport because they're overpriced so I stopped at a corner store on my way to airport and bought some. But by the time I got my bags checked and went through security and all that, people were already boarding the flight. I barely made it but i still made it.

She says laughing. I can't help but to laugh too. If anyone knows stella, they know that she would miss her flight just to get food.

Ashton: yeah sounds like a reason you'd miss your flight

I'm walking around outside my house and when I turn around I can see my mom and lauren starting at me smiling. I know that my mom probably told Lauren about stella, or lauren saw the article online.

Stella: hey my mom just pulled up, I gotta go. Text me?

Ashton: okay and yeah sounds good, by stel

Stella: bye ash

I hang up and walk back inside and i'm greeted by Lauren at the door. "oooo so was that your girlfriend?" she says laughing.
