*Stella's pov*

Ashton and I are in his living room eating pizza and playing 21 questions. I feel like i'm in high school again. I have to start off the game.

"what's your full name?" I ask, let's start off with the easy questions.

"ashton fletcher irwin." he says taking a bite out of his pizza. Fletcher? That's different, i've never heard of anyone with that name before.

"that's different, i like it. I've never met anyone with the name fletcher before." I say laughing

"what really? well i'm happy to be the first." He says smiling.

"Your turn." I say taking a bite out of my pizza.

"well now i'm curious, what's your full name?" he asks.

"Stella grace gaines. Grace is my grandma's name. She passed away when I was a little kid, we were really close she was like a best friend to me. So i'm happy that my parents gave me her name as my middle name." I say looking down at my fingers. I really miss her, I honestly haven't thought of her in a while until now.

"beautiful name. I love it, and i'm really sorry about your grandma stella. I understand that must've been hard for you." ashton says sympathetically.

I look back up at him and nod. I can feel a little lump in my throat just thinking about her. I shake it off and get back to the game so we can change the subject.

"Do you have any siblings?" I ask.

"yes i do actually! They're younger than me, but i have a sister named lauren and a brother named harry. I haven't seen them in a while, they live back at home in australia." he says grabbing another peice of pizza from the box. I didn't know he was from australia? that explains the little accent he has.

"that's cool! I bet you miss them a lot, were you going to go back to australia to visit them?  And I have a younger brother, his name is dylan. He's a senior in high school this year. But he lives back at home in Texas, with my parents" I say.

"Yeah I miss them a lot, i've been thinking about maybe going to visit sometime next week or the week after. And Texas huh? that's one of my favorite places to visit on tour. Do you miss your brother and family as well?" he says smiling and keeping eye contact with me.

I can feel the butterflies dancing around in my stomach while he's making eye contact with me. I honestly haven't had that butterfly feeling in a really long time, ever since me and isaac first started dating. Isaac. Oh my god I completely forgot about the whole thing with isaac. That's probably why my mother was calling me earlier, to talk to me about the situation. Maya called my mom to tell her the news because i couldn't bring myself to tell her he had hurt me once again. Yes you read that right, once again.

"stella?" ashton says bringing me out of my thoughts.

"oh, i'm sorry I was just thinking of something i'm sorry." I let out a little laugh. "Um to answer your question, yes i'm from Texas. And yeah I miss them a lot, especially my little brother we always hung out ALL the time. He was my brother and best friend all wrapped in one. I don't know when i'm going to go back and visit though. But I bet your excited to go home and see your family!" I say grabbing a slice of pizza.

*Ashton's pov*

I noticed that stella got really quiet after I asked about her family, I hope I didn't cross a line I wasn't supposed to. But looking at the expression in her face she looks...hurt? I wonder if it's just because she misses them a lot, she is pretty far from home.
