This ship was briefly mentioned last chapter, and it really isn't the worst in our opinions. Yay! One ship that isn't a definite no from us! We don't necessarily like or dislike this one, but eh here we go. This one's a bit shorter.

eaz's thoughts

I'm gonna keep this brief enough. Really, I don't mind Starspeaker too much. The core reasons I don't like it are just... how it's done in the story as well as personal taste.

Fatespeaker and Starflight are definitely shown to like each other immediately. Which is a reason I don't like it. It just seems really rushed in my opinion. I might like the ship if it was done slower, and it was stretched out over more than... what, one book, plus some uncomfortable stuff with Sunny in her book? That really is my only critique on it, though. Fatespeaker and Starflight seem pretty sweet with each other, and it's clear that feelings are mutual in canon with these two.

I can see why other people like it. I feel like there can definitely be possibilities with fleshing it out, at least in a fanon universe.

but for me it's kind of just... alright.

gale's thoughts

this explanation might not be as long as my others because, well... I don't have very many opinions on this ship.

it's not the worst thing ever. they're around the same age, and for the most part it's pretty healthy. fatespeaker really cares for starflight after he's been blinded, and starflight seems to enjoy fate's company a lot.

but to me, this ship kinda... falls flat? it's just... there, with hardly any development what so ever. again, I don't really have that many opinions on this ship. it just... exists, I guess.

maybe if it were more fleshed out and developed it'd be better. but either way, this ship is purely "meh" to me.
