𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝, 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗" What if my ass just flies out in the middle of class," I asked pulling my skirt further down despite knowing it wouldn't help.
Today was Wednesday, the big Avalon High Football game against the Franklin High football team and I had to wear my cheer uniform the entire day to gain school spirit and support the football team. My only problem was how short the uniform was compared to my old uniform in Miami.
Sage laughed next to me shrugging her shoulders." Give people a show." She teased while I playfully rolled my eyes." Don't worry, it won't. It feels like it will, but it never does."
" Sorry, I'm just so nervous about today."
" How come? You cheered for years." She pointed out.
" Back in Miami, my high school didn't have a cheer team so I cheered for the local neighborhood. I never stood in front of my classmates before and cheer my life away."
Sage nodded her head holding the door open for me while we walked inside the school." I know how you feel." She admitted with a hint of fear. I frowned at the usually happy girl seeing she took a deep breath before speaking." I had a really weird yet bad dream last night."
" Of what ?"
" The football game." She mumbled looking around before turning back to me." I had a dream that something bad would happen. I saw bodies everywhere. Everything happened so quickly, but it was like a murder had taken place."
I was speechless at her words. I had expected her to say the cheer went wrong or maybe one of the girls gotten hurt, but I never expected her to say she had a dream a murder took place during the game.
" Maybe you ate some bad food."
Sage laughed getting to her locker and opening it up while I did the same thing placing my jacket in my locker.
" Hey cheer girls." I heard and smiled turning to see Landon, James, and Paris came over.
" Hey Landon."
" I am so excited for today!" Paris bounced for joy." The press is coming to school since it was the first game in the season, but that's not even the best part."
" What's the best part?" I questioned.
" My daddy got me an interview with the News cast!" She squealed loudly that I had to cover my ears." I'm going to be all over the news and their feed."
" The poor news." Landon muttered causing me to try my best to hide my laugh.
My stomach turn at the possibilities that could happen today. I didn't want to make a fool of myself in front of the school, but now that I thought about it more, I would also be making a fool of myself on the town tv and here, it wouldn't be so hard to run away from it.
" Hey, Violet." I heard and turned to see Grayson walk over to me with a smirk on his lips. I felt the tension leave my mind and smiled.
" Hey Gray-"
" Hi Grayson!" Paris shouted standing more straight and twirling her hair like a typical school girl. At least she had shut up about herself for once.
