I watched Colby walk round the front of my car making his way to the passenger side of my car 'What have I done' I thought to myself and resting my head back onto the steering wheel where it was a couple minutes prior. I was that deep in m thoughts that I hadn't realised that Colby was not in my car. "You ok over there?" He asks me with concern laced in his voice. "Extravagant" I reply with the most sarcastic voice. "Talk to me" He says whilst resting his hand on my leg. What the hell? "I would rather not" I say whilst picking up his hand and dropped it back on his leg. He giggled at my action. He needs to control himself around me because I am not having any of that (if you get me). "Ok, well, what are we going to do?" 'We?' He doesn't even know me and 'we' aren't even a couple. "Well I am going home, doing some work around the house, editing, talking Heartley out and going to the gym. What are YOU doing" I made sure that I emphasised the I and the You in my sentence. "Hang with you" wow. just wow. he isn't going to hang with me that easily but I am going to play along and act 'dumb' "Ok well lets go I guess". We had been on the road for a couple minutes and I'm surprised that it isn't awkward. yes, we haven't spoken but it isn't uncomfortable. "Got an aux cord?" He asked out of the blue. "Nope". I only said that because I didn't know where it was in my car. Yes I got told where it was but I have forgotten. Classic Leah. "Ok.." He is judging I can tell. Gotta change the subject real fast. "We are nearly at my apartment anyway so it wont be long" "Ok" Few, that was like a weight lifted of my shoulders that I didn't even know was there. after a couple more minutes we had arrived to my apartment complex. Thank god I don't live that far away from school. I am lucky to have a car to help me get there and I am forever grateful for that. "What floor do you live on?" "five" I say as quietly as possible. I don't want him finding out what floor I live on. As far as I know he could kill me. "What did you say five so quietly Shit. "For all I know you could kill me" "Why would I want to do that?" Why did I just say that. I face palm myself because that was the stupidest thing I had ever said. "Hey! Don't do that you are going to hurt yourself even more" "Doesn't matter" I say whilst walking out of the elevator and down the hall to my apartment. Home sweet home. I start to pull my keys out and pit them in the door and open it. I am instantly greeted by my baby Heartley at the door. This is something that I will never get tired of "Forgetting someone?" I hear Colby say behind me. I turn to look at him with a smile on my face and welcome him into my apartment and so does Heartley giving him a warm welcome as well.
