LEAHS POV

"so what has been happening miss?" they asked me. i was in a room with two men staring at me. to be honest it was pretty intimidating. come on leah toughen up. you wont get anywhere acting like a baby.

"so i dates this guy named Taylor for a while. everything went well. i was a virgin at the time and i was waiting for the right time to have you know what" i didnt feel comfortable saying it around them "and when we did it he just up and left. i cut it off with him and then when i met my old school friends, he came back and started leaving letters at my house as well as my friends and on some of the letters he had ill intentions and i am scared that he is going to do something"

"and did this Taylor know the address of your friends?" the man asked.

"no sir" i replied.

"may we know the middle name and last name?" the other officer asked.

"he doesnt have a middle name but his last name is black" i said.

the officers looked at one another and then back at me. what was going on. why did they have to look at each other like that.

"madam, what we are going to say is quite shocking so we might need you to be with someone. did anyone come with you?" 

"yes, my boyfriend and best friend. what is happening" i said flashing my eyes between each officer.

COLBYS POV

we had been in the waiting room for around half an our when someone came out calling mine and brennens names. we have to go into the same room that leah is in. i hope that she is ok and nothing bad is going to happen.

we walk into the room and see leah looking panicked sitting at the desk with two officers in front of her.

"baby, are you ok?" i said running over to her.

"i dont know" she said. i knew she was about to cry and i brought her into my chest and calmed her down. we sat down on the chair with putting her on my lap and wrapping my arms around her waist. she is safe with me.

LEAHS POV

colby had placed me on his lap and we sat down on the chair together. he wrapped his arms around my waist. i felt safe and i rested my head on his chest. yes i am that small what you gonna do about it.

"leah, Taylor used to be in a gang. he was accountable for numerous murders as well as rapes. we have been hunting him down for five years now and by you giving us this vital information will help us lock him up for good as well as have the restraining order as you have wished." wait what? no that cant be true.

i dont know how long i staid silent for but i was for a while. im pretty sure that the officers had noticed this as they were explaining to colby and brennen what they were going to do as well as handing pieces of paper here there and everywhere. im probably going to have to read them as well as fill them out later. but right now i need to process all of this. every now and then colby would give my waist i squeeze here and there to comfort him. it would but my brain was going 100mph and i didnt know how to stop it.

an hour later they had stopped talking. i had manage to calm down as well and come back into reality. there were numerous pieces of paper on the table.

"miss, we are aware that you were trying to process all what we had told you but we have written down what you might have missed as well as we have paper for youto fill out. we are going to give you 2 weeks to fill it out. it might not look much but it is vital and we need all the information you know" they said looking it at me.

"ok" i said. that was all i could get out.

"thankyou for everything officers" brennen said.

"we are just doing our job" the two replied in unison.

we all shook hand and left the building with all the paper in our hands.

"leah" brennen said pulling me out of my thoughts.

"yeah" i replied.

"where do you wanna go?" he asked.

"bed"i said. one word sentences was all i could say. and probably for a while.
