BRENNEN'S POV
i started to pack a bag of clothes fro tonight and for the morning as i would be staying over at the trap house along with Leah. i know she doesn't know them all but it would allow her to finally meet all my friends that she has been wanting to do for a while now. well, ever since she met me.
"You ready?" i asked her
"yeah" she replied
god. i would do anything to make her safe. why did this have to happen to her? she did nothing wrong and her ex is doing this? he is just psycho.
"you head down to the car with Kobe and i will be there soon. i just need to get a couple more things that i forgot" i turned around to head to my bedroom to get what i had forgot. what i forgot was a blanket. you might think im lame but this blanket is a special blanket. me and her would wrap it around us if one of us wasn't feeling 100% and would watch movies and eat junk food. see im a good friend, well brother but friend. you get me? well, enough of the rambling and time to get to the trap house and make my sis feel safe. but making her safe is my main priority right now.
i jumped into the car after putting the blanket into the boot of the car and started the engine. after a couple of minutes of driving in silence, we pulled up to the trap house and i put the code in for the gate and it opened. i turned to see Leah and she was in shock, i could tell she had never been in a house this big or has seen a house this big. these little moments bring a smile to my face. her not being sad.
