SAFETY?

LEAH'S POV 

i pulled into brennen's driveway and turned off my car. i made sure that i had everything in my bag before leaving the car so i wouldn't have to leave the house. after i made sure i had everything i got out of the car and walked up to his door. i knocked on his door just to let him know that it was me and not a random stranger walking in. that sent shudders down my spine. remind me to never say that again. 

"hey sis" Brennen said pulling me into a hug. his hugs are the best in times like this.

"hey" i say muffled in his shirt.

"whats up?" he says pulling me out of the hug.

"so you might think im crazy but just read this" i said whilst hanging him the letter

"what is it?" he asked me with concern lased in his voice

"just read it" i said and walked over to the couch and laid down.

BRENNEN'S POV

after Leah  had given me the letter, i felt like something was wrong. i read the letter and my instinct was right. something was wrong. 

"we have to call the cops. this is serious!" i say walking over to my phone

"no brennen we cant"

"what do you mean 'we cant' he stalked you!"

"yes i know he stalked me but if we call the cops he will find out that it was me and god knows what he will do to me. i feel unsafe in my own house! i don't even want to live there anymore" tears were welling in her eyes and i hate to see her upset. she doesn't deserve all this.

"hey, we are going to figure this out ok? we can do this together" i say to hopefully make her feel better

"ok" is all she said. i know where we could stay for the night but im not sure if she wanted to stay there. i would be there with her but she will be with a bunch of strangers.

"so we could say at my friends house tonight. it could give you the chance to meet them?" i asked her with hesitation in my voice not sure if she wanted to or not.

"fuck it. i will" a whole weight lifted off my shoulders as i knew she would have somewhere safe to stay tonight.
