LEAHS POV

i had been in the bathroom for a couple of minutes when i heard a knock on the door. i opened it and saw colby. he opened his arms gesturing me for  a hug. after the things he has done to me i still went to him. he brought me into a hug. placing his head on my head and rubbing my back. i didn't know how long i had been there but i felt... safe. like nothing could hurt me. it was like we were back in my old apartment in Kansas. he picked me up lightly and started walking over to the stairs. what was he doing? im kinda scared. i thought to myself. we had gone into a room that might have been his. he laid me on the bed and laid down with me. he wrapped an arm around me and quietly said

"go to sleep leah, you need it" and pulled me closer.

that was a really nice thing for him to do for me but i was wondering how long it would last. we both remember what happened last time. i have tried hard to put the past in the past and it was really hard. i don't know why but it just was.

COLBYS POV

i had brought leah into my room and laid her on the bed. i had told her to go to sleep as she needed it. even though she had woken up like 30 minutes ago, i could tell by her eyes that she was tired. i brought her closer into my chest making her feel safe. when she said that the person knew where she was and brennen snapped at her, she had to feel safe. after what i did to her beck then, i have hatted myself ever since that day and probably wont be able to get over it. i hope i will and she probably has. i have seen her videos and she looked really happy. i want her to be happy. she doesn't deserve any of this to be happening. the feelings that i had for her are starting to come back and im not sure if that is good or bad.
