BRENNENS POV

i had been in my house crying my eyes out. i knew snapping at leah was one of the stupidest things i had ever done. i just want to tell her that she means soooo much to me and i never wanted our friendship to end this way. a knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts. i walked over to the door (did i say walk? i mean slide my feet one by one) and open it. leah. it was leah. i brought her into me and hugged her really tight. i never wanted to let her go.

"cant. breath"

i stopped hugging her and looked her in the eyes. my eyes diverted from heres to the figure that was stood behind her. colby. of course it was him. he looked at me and smiled a little and i gave him one back.

"brennen?" she said

"yeah" i said with my voice cracking

"lets go to the police station and get rid of my ex" a smile grew on my face and i nodded my head.

we walked into my place and she collected the evidence that she had left in here so we could take it to the cops.

"do you have any in your place?" i asked

"oh yeah." she said nodding her head with her eyes wide. i knew that there was going to be a lot.

we walked out of my place, locking it up and heading towards her place which was next to mine. i looked at colby and i could tell he was confused. i guess he never knew we were neighbors. we walked into her place and started to collect the things we needed. after we had finished, we had three boxes filled with all the evidence. one with clothes. one with paper and pictures whilst the last one had the little its and bits that he have her filled with stuff we couldnt fit in the other boxes. i looked like one of us was moving out but we werent. we were moving her ex out of her life. 

we placed everything in to the boot of colbys car and headed our way to the police station. we used colbys car as he already knew mine and leahs car. we got into the station and placed the boxes on the desk. we explained the story to the lady and she said she will refer us to a deputy (i think she said that) and we will get the case filled. we went over to the waiting room and waited to be called.

"leah?" a male voice said. all of us stood up and walked over to the man "im sorry sirs but only leah can come as she is the main victim" he said and we both nodded and walked back over to the waiting room. i looked over to colby to see how he reacted and he was just staring at her.

"brennen?" he said looking at me

"yeah?" i asked slightly concerned

"can i tell you something and promise me not to tell anyone" my heart started to race

"sure whats up"

"me and leah are together"

"like togethertogteher. as in boyfriend and girlfriend?" i asked

"yeah..." he said looking at me sacred. i brought him into a hug and he was hesitant at hugging me back but eventually did.

"your not mad?" he asked

"no man, im happy. i know you two had your differences but i am glad you two worked it out and are now together"

"thanks man"
