<an update after like 2 months!>

2 weeks later

i had managed to finish all of the paper work that i was given by the police. brennen and colby had to fill one out as well because they were involved in it as well. i feel really bad for bringing them into this. it was my fault in the first place. if i never dated him non of this would have happened.

"you ok babe" colby says bringing me out of my thoughts.

"what? oh yeah im ok" i replied as we were walking to the police station.

"what were you thinking about?" he asked

"about this whole ordeal. that if i never dated him non of this would have happened and we would all be fine" i said looking back up to him.

"babe look at me. non of this is your fault. you didn't know that this was going to happen and neither did we. it was his fault as he decided to do this ok" he said placing both of his hands on my shoulders.

"ok" was all i could reply to him. what would i do without him. i know we have had our differences in the past but we are both better now.

we walked into the police station and up to reception and waited to hand in the papers. they immediately recognized me as i had gone back and forth here for interviews about this. at first i thought they were pointless but i was able to dig up memories that i pushed away and i realized some of the actions i wouldn't think twice on.

they took the papers from us and went over them as we were told to wait in the waiting room. they told us it could be a while as we had a lot of paper work. brennen would be here in a couple of minutes as he was running late. i informed the police on this and they were fine with that. 

<2 hours later>

brennen had come and dropped his paper work of and we were all in the waiting room to see what would happen next. there were so many people looking at what we had written and others were coming in and out of rooms with them. this was really scaring me and my le started to bounce a little more as time went on.

<colbys pov>

i noticed that leahs leg stated to bounce up and down. i knew what this meant because she would do that in school when she was scared and nervous. i placed my hand on her thigh to calm he down and she did. her leg slowed down and she looked at me. i would never get sick of her and i still hate myself for the way i treated her all those years ago. but i have changed and im a better person now.

i turned to brennen to see what he was doing and he was replying to people on Instagram. he is always on that phone. what am i saying i am on mine just as much as he is. anyway we just have to sit and wait patiently to see what is going to happen next. with people walking everywhere with our papers make me nervous and i can understand what is going through leahs head right now.

<30 minutes late>

we got called to the front desk and i grabbed leahs hand and tapped brennen on the shoulder so he knew what we were doing. well, kind of.

"so we have read through what you guys have written and we do apologies as for the amount of time you had been waiting over there. this is going to be the last piece of paper you guys are going to be writing on and you can say your final goodbyes to mr creep once and for all"

<leahs pov>

"wait does that mean his is going to be locked up forever?" i asked the officer.

"yes" he said 

"send the papers my please" i said with a massive smile on my face. i never thought that this day was going to ever come and it finally is (an : probably you lot when i post this) and i might get this date tattooed on me.

after a couple more minutes of signing papers we could officially call this whole ordeal over with and i can live normally again. we all can. i looked over to my boyfriend and best friend with the biggest smile on my face and they looked at me with a smile on theirs as well. we all hugged each other and held on tight.

"what do you want to do?" brennen asked me

"have a massive part and get absolutely smashed" i replied to him.

him and colby laughed at my answer and nodded their heads in agreement. i am going to make this day one of the best days of my life and a night to remember. i am going to invite the whole friend group over to colbys new house that they have recently moved into and we are going to go crazy.
