SAM'S POV

when i heard that a girl named Leah was going to be staying with us tonight, her name sound so similar to me. like ive heard it before but don't know where. when Brennen came to the door and answered, he explained the situation to me and i understood. this is happening to someone i might or might not know and its just wrong. crazy exes. what are we gonna do with them? she walked around the corner to the front of the door and that's when i realized i knew her. i was friends with her brother before he left and me and her became somewhat friends. just me asking her if she was ok now and then.

"hey" i said with a smile

"hi" she said with a little smile. i could tell that she was shocked that it was me here and i bet she was expecting someone else.

"i guess we remember each other then" i asked her with a slight laugh

"yeah" she said with a little laugh as well.

"so i just want to say that the other guys that live here are me obvioustly, corey, jake,devyn and colby. i guess you know colby" i asked her. i could tell she was uneasy when i said colby's name. im still mad at him that he just left her after the whole thing that happened at the party that night. we all knew he had a little thing for her but i guess he doesnt? i dont know

"yeah i remember him" she said quietly with a sad expression on her face

"hey its ok, he isn't here tonight so there is no need to worry. lets go to the gaming room and watch some tv." i asked her

"that sounds good" she replied

LEAH'S POV

me and sam walked into the games room and there was someone already in there. he must ne one of the roommates. he looked at me and said

"you must be leah, im elton" he said walking over to me and giving me a hug. i was hesitent and gave him one back

"do you live here?" i asked confused

"no, i used to but jake over there" he pointed over to boy who had half black half red hair "moved in and took my place" the boy walked over to us

"sorry but i messed my bros and wanted see them. when they gave me the opportunity, i took it" he then turned his attention to me "wassup im jake but i guess you already know that"

"yeah nice to meet you" i said with a giggle and we hugged.
