I slowly opened my eyes, feeling the weight of someone else's arm wrapped around me. I turned my head around just as much as I could to see a still sleeping AJ.

The room was no longer lit up with the rays of natural sunlight peering through my window; it was instead very dim, the only light being the faint glow that the moon offered.

I reached over to my nightstand to grab my phone so that I could check the time and my notifications.

9:17pm

There was also a text from my mom saying that she wouldn't be home until the morning. Thank god. I honestly just wasn't in the mood to be questioned.

I also wasn't sure exactly how long our little sex session lasted and quite frankly, I didn't even remember falling asleep. I did, however, know that we had both probably slept longer than we had intended to.

The good thing about that was that it was now the weekend. We didn't have any homework to do right away or we didn't have anywhere to be now or for the rest of the weekend.

AJ was more than likely staying the night anyways being as though we had planned to spend our entire weekend together.

Feeling a little hungry, probably after all of the calories I'm sure I burned, I decided to go to the kitchen and fix AJ and I up something to eat for the night. I was no chef, but I could do a little something.

I slowly removed his tight grip from around me and lifted his arm so that I could free myself. I hadn't realized that I wasn't wearing any clothes until I removed the covers to get up. Yet another reason to be thankful that my mom wasn't home.

As soon as I went to lift myself off of the bed, there was a sharp pain in my lower back, causing me to lose balance and fall to the floor.

I looked up into the bed to see AJ still sound asleep and I was glad. He would've gotten himself a good laugh out of this; I, myself, even let out a chuckle.

I didn't bother getting dressed being as though AJ and I were the only ones home. I instead pulled myself straight off of the floor and walked out of my room toward the steps.

The whole house was pretty dark, faint splashes of light placed sporadically wherever the moonlight could get in at.

I knew my house pretty much like the back of my hand so I didn't bother turning on any lights until I got to the kitchen.

"AHHH! WHAT THE FUCK?!" I screamed.

I was sure I had just woken AJ up; that was a scream loud enough for the entire block to hear me.

I dragged myself to the nearest light switch to see what I had just stepped on. Upon turning on the light, my foot was the last of my worries.

"Baby, are you goo— what the hell happened?" I heard AJ say as he approached me.

There was a piece of glass lodged into my foot causing blood to slowly trickle out into the tile kitchen floor. In fact, there was glass pretty much covering the entire surface of the floor in the kitchen.

The cabinets were all wide open, leading me to believe that all of the glass on the floor was from the dishes that had been placed in their respected cabinets.

You would have think that I'd be focused on getting the glass out of my foot immediately, but to be honest, there were more serious matters that needed to be tended to.

I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, turning that light on too.

Much to my surprise, it looked just as much of a mess. There were rips in the couches, pictures smashed and thrown on the floor, lamps knocked off of the tables, and anything else you could think of.
