Louis P.O.V.

"So you take left from the last block in town. That'll get you straight to Dorchester and then you know where to go yeah?" Kevin said as he guided me on how to get to the Children's home.

"Yeah, Thanks mate" I said. And just when I was about to end the conversation I heard his voice again.

"Why now Louis?"

"Cause I brought something that doesn't belong to me from over there" I said before hanging up on him. Entering the directions into the GPS system before I forgot, I found myself driving the four hour long journey back to where it all started. The place it could end is the place it started. And I'm gonna find out anything in the way.

"It's great to have you back my dear. I'm sure I-" The sister flattered me with all types of happy thoughts before entering the hallway.

"LOUIS!!!" I turned to the space beside her and was quick to notice the small friendly face runnung up to me.

"Dave!" I yelled back as he quickly wrapped his hands around my waist.

"Did you see me? Did you come to see me?" He asked excitement overloading from his shimmering eyes.

"Yeah. Something like that" I murmured having the last thing that I wanted to do was hurting his feelings.

"So what brought you all the way back here?" Watching Dave skip away with his friends I turned back to the sister.

"Sister, I need some information" I said lowering my voice and stepping closer to her.

"What kind of information?" Her warm smile was fading knowing that I was standing there for a reason she might not like.

"About um.... about that girl you told me about on our last visit...?" She let out a smile before I even finished.

"Her files were closed a long time ago dear. We don't give away information to people who doesn't have any relation to them."

"Look sister, this might sound absolutely nuts okay? But ever since that incident up in the music room, I feel like she has been....after me?" I winced hoping she'd understand what I was trying to say. "It's like.... I'm having nightmares and sort of.... visions of different things. Stuff that doesn't happen. I barely get any sleep at night. About a month ago, I was in a car accident and now my girlfriend almost drowned I-" I paused. "I really need your help"

"Let me be honest with you. Annie was a brilliant little girl" Soon we were sitting down in her office upstairs. She put her file down infront of me before continuing with her explaination. "Ever since she was little she was good at singing, dancing, music, and even school stuff. You name it. She's aware! Her biggest talent was the piano. She was good at it since she was like......four. Everybody loved the friendly little girl" My hands ran through several photos of her. The more I saw, the more I was certain she was the one.

"When Annie came to the house, this girl started to receive everyone's sudden attention. She was friendly, social and within two days, she already found a best friend in this boy named um.... Trevor. They were like bestest best friends. Quite unbreakable. They even had a song for themselves that they used to sing together." She said with an excited smile. I tried to return the excitement but the least I could do is a simple tilt on the corner of my lips.

"We thought they wouldn't leave each other's side but, a couple of months later we started to receive various complaints from Annie about Trevor"

"About Trevor?" I asked closing the file. "What kinda complaints?"

"I don't remember what exactly, but I remember how she mentioned about him ordering her around. Asking her to do things she didn't wanna do. Things like, killing little animals out in the garden, or stealing from other children... We were really concerned about this because what ever she did, she held Trevor to be responsible. Even things as simple as sleeping in the daytime and playing music in the night. When we ask her why she does that, she says 'Trevor told me to do it' That's all we got

We didn't know what to believe, we couldn't actually see any type of proof. She kept saying it was him, and he kept saying it wasn't him. We tried to let the time decide the best of things when all it ever did was making the situation worse"

"How worse..." I was scared to ask but I did anyway.

"Trevor had a brother named Nathan. They were really close. When they came here, they were all each other had. Annie started filling Nathan's head with all of this bringing the brothers to distant form each other. Soon Trevor became a loner that nobody wanted to sit with at lunch or play with..." She swallowed before continuing. "A few weeks later, we found Annie's body in the woods with a pair of scissors stuck to the throat"

"Sc- scissors??" That's the bloody thing she kept raising at me. The pair of scissors that killed her.

"Nathan started pointing fingers at Trevor and kept saying he killed her and we didn't have much of a choice because it was Trevor, who found the body"

This conversation was heading down south from the moment it started and I was barely keeping my feet together anymore.

"What happened to him?" I asked digging my fingers into the file in front of me.

"The police stated doing investigations and tests over the matter. That's when we found out that Annie, had schizophrenia. It's a mental disease in which the patient could experience hallucinations; seeing or hearing things that are never seen or heard. That's how we realized why she kept saying it was Trevor. Trevor was the closest to her, so whatever the words that forced her to do things; she heard it in Trevor's voice"

"And Trevor?" Which was actually what I asked in the first place.

"Trevor got adopted about a month later. It was a very nice family and Trevor wanted nothing more than just to get out of this place so he took his chance"

"Good for him" I murmured under my breath and I didn't expect the sister to turn to me with an uncomfortable smile.

"We thought so too but, After about two months Trevor's foster family came rushing to us for the same reason that you are here for." She said and I let out a shaky breath. "The same strange reason that's bothering you. 'A little girl messing with their lives'" She went on. "We didn't believe it at first and said they shouldn't be so terrified. We tried recommending therapy groups and stuff but it didn't bring them any satisfactory. Couple of months later their house was caught on fire"

"Caught on f-fire?" With or without them inside?? "They died" I tensed up a little. That could be me. That could be my fate right there.

"We got some sudden messages from the police saying that Trevor wasn't inside the house when it was set on fire. We tried to find him but then a few days later we heard some people saying that Trevor was moved in to a different orphanage...The Angel's or something, it was called. So we gave up the search"

"Do you have any idea why or how they were killed? Like um.... is there anything that they could've done to stay alive?" My desperate need for life was ignoring the slightest bit of ego I had in me. I was devastated when she shook her head.

"Do you have a picture of him or, any way we can contact where he is" I asked handing the file back to her.

"I'm really sorry but after three weeks of giving the children for adoption I usually close the file. It might take a while for me to know where it is"

"Can you find it? please?"

"I can try" She replied. "Tell you what. Leave me your contacts and I'll send it to you if I find it"
