Marinette's POV

I hurriedly walked back into the classroom, grabbing some of the tissues, not even paper thin, you could basically see through them, and sat back in my seat, just as roll call began. I sighed and brushed my hair behind my shoulder, looking down at my arm.

There were five lines from Chloe's acrylic nails, bleeding, but not much. I dabbed them carefully with the tissues I'd grabbed prior. I could always just heal them, but it would draw suspicion to it for Chloe and her friend if the cuts were just gone.

Chloe and the redhead sauntered in and took their seats casually, as if what had happened, hadn't just happened. She blew a kiss at Adrien with a sickly sweet smile on her face, which soon fell off when she twisted a little to glare at me.

I rolled my eyes with a scoff, looking down at my arm.
"Marinette! What happened?" Alya whisper shouted. I looked over at her and smiled sheepishly.

"Chloe happened." I rolled my eyes again. "We had a little run in, in the hallway. I'm fine though." I reassured her. Alya raised her eyebrow with a frown and glared at the back of Chloe's head, I giggled.
"Those could get infected. You should go to the nurse and get some bandaids."

I sighed and chewed on my lip,
"Fine." I gave in, shaking my head at her.

"Ok, class dismissed." Miss Mendeliev said, cleaning up her papers. I swept my things together and put them all into my bag,
1 more class then lunch.

I stood up and walked down the steps over to the front of the room, when a certain someone's foot decided to jut out and trip me. I fell with a squeak, hitting my chin on the ground. I groaned and closed my eyes, I'd almost used my powers.

I pushed myself up slowly with a sigh of relief. Once I got back on my feet I swiped the back of my hand against my chin, flinching slightly when it stung and a streak of red was left of my hand.
Great. Now I really need to go to the nurse.

Adrien has already left the classroom with Nino, but upon the loud sound of my fall, he'd rushed back inside. Alya was already knelt next to me,
"Seriously, Chloe? Geez, what is your problem?" The blonde batted her eyelashes with a fake pout, innocently.

"Oh but, whatever do you mean? I did nothing wrong! That poor little Maritrash just tripped and fell all on her own!" Chloe tried to keep her little facade, but you could see a smirk beginning to form on her lips.

I scoffed, rolling my eyes,
"'Maritrash'? You must've been thinking about that all class. Glad you're thinking of me." I gave her a fake smile before turning and grabbing Alya's wrist, "Come on, let's go." The brunette looked between us a few times before settling on one last glare at Chloe and dragging me out the classroom.

As we passed by Adrien, Alya muttered,
"Learn to control your girlfriend." While shoving past him.

"And, good as new!" Nurse Beineke finished sticking the bandage to my chin.
"Thank you, Nurse Beineke."
"Here," She smiled and handed us a pink slip of paper she wrote on quickly, "A late pass." I smiled back and nodded at her before leaving with Alya.

"She was really nice." I commented as we walked down the abandoned hallway.
"Yeah, sure she was. Why won't you stand up for yourself Marinette? Or let me do it for you since you're shy?" Alya asked me, frustrated. I gave her a light laugh,
"It's not worth it. Karma will catch up to her eventually. And firing back only fuels the downward spiral."

"So does doing nothing." I shrugged,
"Well, it'll keep her attention on me, and then no one else with have to feel her wrath. I can handle it." I told her.
"But-,"
